Definitely the spot for delicious savory breakfast!
The staff was polite and attentive. There was no wait when we arrived (8:30am) and were seated promptly. We ordered the chicken biscuit, crab croissant, and the kids choc chip pancakes. Everything was wonderful but imo the crab croissant was the best! We sat on the patio to enjoy the breezy morning and had a really nice time. 10/10 recommend!

My sis and I were out looking for a good breakfast and found ourselves at Blue Mahoe!! And we are SO GLAD we did! Let’s start with the service, Nikki our waitress was the sweetest young lady! So bubbly, answering all our menu questions and was a joy the entire visit! Now to the FOOD!!! This place is AMAZING! The pancakes were so buttery, fluffy with delicious crispy edges! Our omelettes were so so good!!! Literally no complaints from food, service or atmosphere. Blue Mahoe is now on our lists of best breakfast in Destin, we’ll be back!

Didn’t realize this place was opened until my husband and I came to have breakfast with our daughter last week. The food was delicious. Bourbon Street (chicken and waffles) was AMAZING! Husband got potatoes and pork belly and even then that was so so good. Our server Aaliyah was super attentive and took good care of us. The building could use a little cosmetic work to look a little more appealing to the eye, but the food is where it’s at. We paid a little over $50 for the 3 of us, two platters and the kids french toast that was $12.

We were greeted with a smile and a welcoming hostess! Our waitress was amazing! The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients, iced coffee was amazing! My family all tried 4 different breakfast items and they were delicious! I highly recommend the Blue Mahoe! Makes me want to come back for lunch or dinner. They make their own syrup and hot sauce, just to name a few things.
Hands down the best breakfast we have had on our trip.

We come to Destin annually and this will be added to the roster. We had the crab croissant, which was tasty and FRESH! The waffle was made from the perfect batter. The pork belly grits were great. They made prefect accommodations for now I like my bacon cooked, and it all washed down well wish a strawberry mango mimosa. Top it off with attentive and friendly service from Marta. Great way to start the vacay.

We love Blue Mahoe. It is our preferred brunch place in Destin. Quality in everything. Flavor in every bite. Customer service is great each time. Everything from egg white omelet to the sandwiches and the pancakes etc. Amazing! We love to support small local businesses like ours and we hope this one stays for years to come!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blue Mahoe, a new breakfast restaurant in Destin, and I have to say that my experience was simply amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a relaxing breakfast.
Now, let’s talk about the food. I had trying a few dishes, but the standout was definitely the Bourbon Street – a plate of hand breaded, house seasoned chicken fillet fried to perfection, served with a Coconut Belgian waffle and Bourbon honey. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savory, and I couldn’t get enough.
The Bacon Triple Cheese Omelette was also a hit, with a sauté of onions, bacon, tomatoes, hot peppers, Fontina cheese, Cheddar cheese, and Asiago cheese. It was a spicy foodie’s dream come true.
For me as a sweet tooth, the Old Texas – three slices of thick Texas French toast with powdered sugar and whipped cream – was an absolute delight.
But the real surprise came with the Special Dessert Biscuit, a chef’s homemade biscuit topped with grilled pineapple, strawberry puree, whipped cream, and Bourbon syrup. I had never tasted anything like it before, and it was simply heavenly.
To wash it all down, I enjoyed an ice coffee that was fantastic and an Island Punch drink made with dark rum, coconut rum, orange juice, and pineapple juice that was also very good.
Their foods are creative and delicious, the staff is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing breakfast in paradise. I’ll definitely be back soon.can’t wait to try other foods from the menu.
