The rice and beans were so good but my enchiladas were super dry and the corn tortillas didn’t seem cooked. I think I probably ordered wrong so I’d probably go for something else on the menu next time. It did make a pretty picture though!

If passing thru Rosebud on hwy 77, you might miss this little gem of a place. Very small, hole in the wall kind of place, but WOW, what great food. You should put this place on your stop if passing thru. I got a breakfast burrito that makes the Whataburger taquitos like toothpicks!

This little place has a dirt drive through and 4 (maybe 5) tables, but dont let that prevent you from stopping by for one of their absolutely fantastic specials! Without a doubt, this little gem in the country has the best Mexican food you will find and the best I’ve had since moving from San Antonio. The salsa is fresh, the mini street tacos were the bomb, and the charro’s had me dancing like Charo from The Love Boat!! Superb!

I was just passing through and was really wanting a breakfast burrito so I decided to stop here. To say it was delicious would be an understatement. It reminded me of a place I loved when I was a kid in Ingleside. The ladies that took my order were so sweet, the food came out fast and man…it was so amazing! Great job! If you’re ever passing through, you should definitely stop and eat. Oh and the verde sauce was on point!

I ordered a breakfast burrito to go with bacon beans cheese and eggs. By far the best breakfast burrito ever and they did not skimp on ingredients. The best $7.00 I’ve spent on a meal in a long long time. I highly recommend Comalitos to anyone in the Rosebud area or to anyone just passing thru.

I was really impressed with the beef tips. Oh…and their hot sauce. Also incredible. I’m definitely going back. I have to know if this is just a fluke. Because, I’ve heard from some that their food was about as good as their driveway. This driveway to the take-out window is an off-road enthusiasts dream. More potholes than I could count some big enough to lose a small car in. Seriously though. Their driveway will damage smaller vehicles not built for the all terrain off-roading experience.
