This Starbucks always makes me feel welcome the moment I walk in. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. I’ve seen them handle some tough situations with difficult customers, yet they remain calm, professional, and kind. It really says a lot about the team here!

The location is good, many out door seating with a fire pit, but now where to flash out our previous drink, out door seating is open but the bathroom is closed this is another Starbucks location coming up with their own CDC location and closing their restrooms when all other restaurants arround restrooms are open.
If you really want to get your self a Starbucks get it from Ralph location across the parking lot and enjoy the out door seating.

Possibly the worst service in California; the worst attitude and the longest wait for an order that was ordered in advance in an empty store.

Don’t tip at this location.
The employees saw me at the counter but totally ignored me. They took care of the customer in front of me right away. I was still waiting to give my order when the customer in front of me walked out. No one else was in line. I have no idea what is going on with the employees at this location? What a waste of time to drive there, find a parking, walk thru the busy parking lot and not be able to buy a coffee. I won’t be back to the Dana Point Golden Lantern location.
Get rid of the trophy employees who think everything is owed to them and bring people who want to work!
And here is Starbucks half ass generic response.

We came as a group of four for coffee and some pastry. The lady who took our order. She was kind of nice and she ask us if we want our coffee one the coffee mug and we said yes, and we didn’t know at the end we had to return the mug to the back Close to the kitchen area we never did this in the regular Restaurant to take the dishes back to the kitchen area. We were about to leave The Starbucks when one of the Lady named Zoe shouted at us hay you guys need to take your coffee mugs to the back of the store that’s our policy. She was very rude about it and I don’t appreciate it when you go to a restaurant or anywhere else and you pay and you tip that person and at the end you have to take the dishes back to the kitchen area that is not acceptable. This place should be closed because of this stupid policy.

The afternoon crew on Sunday was absolutely horrible! The women taking our order was rude, she refused to make any substitutions and gave me attitude when I pushed back. The store is filthy, behind the counter was disgusting, the bathroom was filthy. The condition of the store matched the workers attitudes. 0 stars if it was possible.

One of the slowest Starbucks chains. Totally mismanaged and low energy employees.
Mobile orders of one simple coffee consistently take 45 min or longer. And with poor attitude.
Starbucks regional managers, take action. I’ve moved on to our local coffee shop till you get this fixed.

I regularly (almost every morning) come here because everyone is so kind, warm, and welcoming. Yes, they remember me because I stop by on my way to work regularly, but I want to stop by. I see the same other guests on the daily too – who chat with the baristas, so I know I’m not the only one who feels appreciated by the staff here. I feel comfortable and I often, also, grade papers in the wee hours of the morning to which I’m asked how my school year is going. Cailyn, Sam, and Patricia(and I’m sorry that I’m not including everyone’s names) always work their tails off and I’m appreciative of their work ethics and that they genuinely care to provide the best experience they can for those who stop in. In reading some other reviews, I can appreciate that people get frustrated when orders go wrong from time to time, but I’ve also seen the staff maintain their calm under pressure, even in the face of a lack of compassion for human error. So they have my respect and appreciation. This store will continue to be my “go-to” location. ☺️

I was late to work because I ordered a mobile order pickup that I could not cancel and the location didn’t even open until 6:30. I start work at 6:30! The app wouldn’t let me cancel my order, so I had to decide between losing the money or being late. It wasn’t even ready when they opened either, so I still had to wait an extra 10 minutes. Made my morning incredibly stressful.
