Counter service cafe. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is relaxed cafe vibes. Food is just a bit mid though. It’s fine for a quick bite to eat. The Asian salad looked like something I could have easily made at home on a low effort night. Was about 65 dollars for two, this was one sandwich , a salad , two coffees and a slice of cheese cake to share.

This place has it all – Great food, service, and ambiance! My top favorites are the Lilikoi French toast and the Butter Loco Moco – feels like I’m in Hawaii with the food despite being in Upland. Also family friendly, which is huge for us with an infant and toddler.
If you’re in the area and debating whethe you should stop by, do yourself a favor and do it!

Butter Cafe & Bakery was fairly busy for brunch hours. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out fast but the Kalua Pork Hash didn’t suit my palate, the Cafe au Lait wasn’t that remarkable, and the Coffee Cake was good but a little too heavy. Don’t know if it was the different style or just the food itself, but keep in mind this is my personal opinion. You’d have to try it out for yourself.

SERVICE: An incredible team works here. You can tell that the owner has a lot of love in not only his business, but also in his team and the food that they serve.
ATMOSPHERE: Clean and modern. Not a speck of dirt
FOOD -My sister and I indulged in:
UBE PANCAKES: Not heavy or over sweet. Incredibly fluffy and delicious. Easy favorite!
KAHLUA HASH: Garclic fried rice, egg (your way), shredded pork and the most amazing gravy! I cleaned my plate!
DRINKS: Matcha Honey and Cold Brew. Neither was bitter and both were tasty and refreshing!

The omelette was huge and delicious! The quesadilla was good and filled with cheese bacon and all the good stuff you want to put in it. The coffee was hot, fresh; I was provided a bottle of Tropicana orange juice. I it was going to be fresh squeezed, but that’s just me. The water the owner was walking around pouring for us tasted so deliciously filtered.

Very nice cafe and bakery. Small display case with baked goods, big menu with a good selection of food and coffee drinks. Dining area is nice with a lot of natural light. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of parking and easy to find. Food quality is good and service is great. Good place to meet with friends, study or grab a quick lunch.

Returning customer for their breakfast. Really good quality food, environment is calm cafe style. Only downside is staff has been consistently quiet, not rude but barely pays attention to you. Other than that, good location to try!

Place is like a Dennis food looks good but the lack of taste is far from been good prices are really high for the taste of food glass of milk is about 6 dollars, I pay 70 dollars for my food 2 Turkey bacon sandwiches and 2 kids breakfast with apple juice and milk not worth it maybe in a close future if they change the taste or prices. Also the place was super dirty.
