I stopped in to Wichita Brewing after a long day of travel. The bartender was friendly and when asked provided suggestions for both food and drink. I went with the English Mild and a Margherita Pizza. The beer was crisp, clear, and a little malty. The pizza was great, save the balsamic glaze (but that’s my personal hangup).
There was plenty of bar seating and non-bar seating though I’ll say the non-bar seating was comprised of large picnic table styled tables. Too large for one person to feel good about. I didn’t notice smaller tables, but perhaps I missed them around the corner. The bar was sticky as if it hadn’t been cleaned from a recent spill. Pretty forgivable, as it is a bar after all.

We absolutely enjoyed the pizza and beer selection. Our group was there for quite a while and nobody rushed us, the staff was very friendly and prompt. We especially loved the sweet heat loaded pizza and the hot links.

The pizza is 5/10. The crust isn’t good and the pizza needed to be cooked longer.
The wings were really good but 8 wings for $14 isn’t the best value.
The beer is excellent. 10/10
Service was bad. We sat at a table and had 3 people waiting on us. This is a terrible system because without one person responsible you tend to get abandoned for long periods of time. After one person took our drink order we waited 10 minutes for someone else to take our food order.

Great pizza and atmosphere. Service was faster than expected based on some other reviews. Didn’t feel rushed, but our order was taken and arrived in a timely manner and our server was friendly. We had the Cajun Bacon Ranch and Triple Spicy Italian pizza. The beer/ cider we had were also very good: Original Sin Black Widow and Raspberry Jam Tallgrass. All in all a great experience and will return when in the area.

The food was great. Drinks were strong. Definitely recommend sitting upstairs especially if it’s nice outside. The restaurant has a cool industrial look. It was very busy on a Saturday night. Its seat yourself, so go in and find a place to sit then go to the register and place your order.

Edit to original: WBC reached out and explained the situation and handled it better than I could’ve asked for! Truly shows that their management cares & is aware of the issue and coming up with a solution!
Went here for dinner tonight. We received a gift card for Christmas that is the “best of brews & more” gift card with local places. Wichita brewing company is listed on there. Went to use it at the Delano location and the gift card only works at the east or west location because there is a different POS system. No where on the gift card or packaging does it say Delano is not included. The server told us “yeah we’ve told management multiple times about this”. This is bad marketing and bad sales. Why is the consumer the one paying for management/ownerships inconsistency? We won’t be back knowing that according to our server- this issue has been brought up multiple times and nothing has been done about it. Continue to sell the gift cards with no notice that the Delano location isn’t included. False marketing and terrible customer service. Now out $ because they don’t take the gift cards being sold with their logo on it.

This is pretty much a service yourself type restaurant you order at the register you pick up your own food the only thing the wait staff does take your order for and bring to your table is the drinks. I ordered the Cooperstown Pizza my sister ordered the beer queso and pretzels for us to try and the Italian sub, and my daughter ordered the Sweet Heat Carnivore
Pizza. My sister and I both ordered their craft soda I ordered the cream and my sister ordered the root beer we both ended up with the root beer which was delicious. All the food that we ordered was delicious, rich, and just too much for one sitting. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff that served us was in training so there was room for improvement which I’m sure she’ll do.

The Wichita West High Class of 1975’s 50th reunion recently held their Friday evening mixer at WBC Delano’s newly opened private room and what a great time we had!!! 100 of our classmates raved about WBC’s new space while catching up. Staff went above and beyond to make the event amazing! WBC created a custom menu for us as well as provided a private bar, too. Scheduling was a snap. After our time wrapped, we went upstairs and enjoyed the open space and bar until closing. Good times!!!
