TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Went during the soft opening and they already had it so dialed in. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the restaurant was spotless—they were constantly staying on top of cleaning. Food came out fast, hot, and super fresh. Everything was so good. I’ve been waiting for a Dave’s Hot Chicken and it absolutely did not disappoint. Will 100% be back!

Dave’s hot chicken has got it going on their customer service. They’re aura their business. Everything about them is amazing their food especially I have a family of nine and we all love going to Dave’s hot chicken as much as we can. I recommend everybody in the world going there because it is absolute best hands-down every time I go in there the workers are so helpful and so very nice. I haven’t met anyone. I have not liked. Plenty of parking, reasonable pricing ($10-15 per person), nice portions. The staff is super amazing. From the service from the server Bruno to Kourtney who helped to carry our order to the table and Nathan checking that we have everything we needed. Store is clean and customer service is A+. The app is nice for earning rewards to get more just for enjoying delicious grub. Daves Hot Chicken is tender and packed with flavor.

A fun fast food dining spot for a quick meal. The chicken was nice and crispy and when it says hot, the chicken is spicy which we appreciated.
Our favorite meal were the loaded fries that had their kale slaw, cheese sauce, and their pickles. Their service was fantastic and they were all very friendly.

I wasn’t really expecting anything phenomenal, but oh my lanta this changed me. The chicken is just simply oh so tender and delightful and juicy. I was so pleasantly surprised. And the PERFECT amount of crispiness was present as well.
I set my spice to mild (I’m a lightweight) and it was just right. The sauce it came with also took it to the next level! I absolutely recommend coming here, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the atmospheric decor you’re greeted by too!

I finally beat the long line and showed up 15 minutes before they opened. I was the second person to order.
I ordered the number 1 (two chicken tenders and fries), and a regular chocolate shake.
The order took about 10 minutes to show up.
The food is just how I remember it in Portland (fresh, decent portions and well flavored).
The servers were very friendly and seemed happy to be working.
I will be returning and bring some friends.

For the first couple days being open it’s quite polished. The food was fantastic, the staff did a great job. We were able to order pretty quickly and got our food hot. Delicious. Will be back.

Just went around 7:30pm on a Thursday. Spent almost $30 on 2 meals. Waited 30 minutes to receive my food. My timer buzzed in my hand, went to the counter to pick it up, was promptly ignored and passed by, by 4 different staff members, simply because I didn’t want to go digging into bags to see what was mine. The guy at the counter finally noticed I was waiting, and handed me the bag labeled with my stuff. Having waited 30 minutes, I just wanted to go home. Drove the 40 minute drive home, just to get in the house and realize that the items in the bag were NOT what the sticker on the outside said. It wasn’t my food. So I just wasted $30 on a meal that would normally be half that…all because someone didn’t want to do their job.
