Social Profile:

Our beans are cultivated, hand selected and roasted in the small town of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico. Our friend Migeul Ortiz owner of La Torre coffee farm is our only provider of coffee working together to support the fair trade of this noble product. Is a blessing to have such a quality and amazing product promoting the fair trade in between business owners and family owned farms. This are 100% Arabica beans sun dried, wood roasted system, process that is in danger of extinction in the Caribbean and most of South America. In our coffee shop you will be able to enjoy a variety of drinks hot and iced. Delightful sweets inspired in our Puerto Rican pastries and desserts, and much more!

Cute, locally owned cafe. The almond cake was delicious. I advise warming up the danish prior to eating. I also had the winter special coquito latte which had a light and unique flavor.

You can tell they believe in supporting local and especially brown communities which is great! The city thrives on diversity and inclusion. Excited to see what else they can offer in the future. I’d love to see live music or poetry.

What a cozy place. Fun paintings for sale and fun and positive barista! This establishment is definitely destination worthy for the coffee/latte flights. So much fun, got to try 4 different things and can get them hot or cold!

This is a cute coffee shop to stop at while you are in town. I loved the deep ties to Puerto Rico by their inclusion of typical flavors in drinks and pastries. I decided to go with the coffee flight so I could try a few different coffees during my visit. The Aroma signature flavor (Coquito) was a unique flavor I have not found at other coffee shops and I would order it again! I also really enjoyed the Churro latte and the So Swicy latte (my husband and brother-in-law liked it too). The almond cake was delicious- I would buy it as a big cake if possible.
The cafe is cozy with plenty of seating. It isn’t too loud and has a lot of natural lighting.
This is a unique place for Wisconsin and I am glad I tried it out. As a Spanish teacher who has not been to Puerto Rico yet, I left with a few ideas of things to make in my classroom for students to try!

I have been trying to make it to Aroma since I first saw it opened, but the weekend hours, 10am – 3pm, make it a little challenging. I wish they opened a little bit earlier, as by 10 I kind of forget about it. I met up with a friend shortly after opening. There are so many delicious looking treats and coffees to choose from. I got a chai latte that was perfect and was ready so quick!

They had a good flow of people thoughout the time we were there and I loved that they had art for sale as well as some Puerto Rican merch. Would love to come back and try more!

Great coffee place at the quiet corner and easy to find parking spots. I ordered Americano, avocado toast and tiramisu. The avocado with lots of bacon which is nice but too salty to me. The tiramisu was ok.

This is the 2nd time I’ve visited aroma cafe. Besides incredible coffee (and flights where you can sample multiple drinks), there is local artwork sold, as well as various pop up events. Aroma embodies a small business through and through, adding yet another unique food/drink offering to West Allis.

This is a great little coffee shop! It brings a little bit of Puerto Rico to the Milwaukee area. Coffee and food were both delicious! I am always in search of places where I can enjoy a little bit of my heritage, and Aroma Cafe delivered!

First time here. It’s a nice-looking storefront with lots of big windows, letting in lots of natural light. There are a few café tables outside, with umbrellas overhead to give some nice shade. Inside is a spacious area with numerous tables for groups of people. There was a well-stocked pastry counter and different merchandise or bulk coffee.

When we arrived, there were a few other people inside. We were able to order right away. We were served by the owner, who was super friendly and helpful with the order. Struck up a conversation where she enthusiastically talked about her business and how it was the culmination of a drive to open up a coffee shop. Ordered a Chai Latte and a Guava pastry.

It was a nice day, so we ended up taking our food/drink outside. The outside tables were clean and comfortable. The Chai was carefully made (extra foam) and even included some latte art. I would have preferred it in a mug, but they don’t offer those. The Guava pastry was good but a bit too flaky for my tastes. The guava filling was moist and flavorful.

I would definitely come back for a second try.
