Excellent overall experience – great food, super nice people and excellent service.
This is small local business at its finest – limited menu done right plus daily specials to keep it interesting. Our food came out quickly and our server came back multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Everything I tasted was good but what was outstanding was the pulled pork, brisket, pickles, coleslaw and jalapeño cornbread. The baby back ribs were heavily sauced (not my favorite prep) but they were tasty and tender – everyone enjoyed them. I tried the wings and they were good but a little too “rub forward” for me – but you should try them. The Mac & Cheese was good but dry – which is par for the course when you bake it. The owner mentioned they were perfecting the recipe and I would suggest trying Gus’s Fried Chicken as I think it’s the best in the area. What surprised me the most was how great the fish & chips were. Two nice pieces of cod with excellent batter and hot/crispy fries – perfect and unexpected.
I would definitely recommend going here and supporting this business. They really get it right and seem committed to keeping up the quality all the way around.

Wow, just wow. This is one of those reviews that could be as long as a novel or as short as a headline as for there’s really not enough words in the English language to properly describe how amazing the food and service is here. Put it this way, I’ve been struggling to decide to describe the turkey first or the sourdough bread of the sandwich I ate. And that is not a knock against how amazing the turkey is. Hands down best smoked turkey and smoked wings I’ve ever eaten in my life. There I said it. It’s an odd angle but I judge BBQ spots on their ability to properly smoke turkey and chicken wings for many reasons I will not go into in this review. But just trust me, you can tell a lot about a BBQ place based on their Smoked Turkey and wings. I digress, just go here and discover for yourself the culinary nirvana I experienced for lunch today.

I saw some tables around us get really great service. We didn’t have that happen. We did receive a percentage off our bill. I didn’t need or request- I still would have paid full price. The food was delicious. I hope you have a better experience.

Amazing patio and great service and drinks. Food tasted like the best BBQ that you took home and heated up a few days later for lunch. Maybe we got unlucky between smokes? Great chicken fingers but the smoked wings and ribs were cool and over smoked. Sides were not great. Mac and cheese was dry. Likely not returning and we are local so disappointed.

It was a little chili, but we had just gone for a run with our dogs, so wanted to bring the dogs and sit out side. John set up a heater for us, and Brandon was our server. The food was amazing at a great price. Don’t pass up the ribs, wings, or street corn.
The real thing that made this place so memorable was that we weren’t tested like customers at a restaurant. They welcomed us like family at a BBQ. Might have to make this place a part of our Sunday routine.

This is an iconic neighborhood spot where everybody knows your name! The owners John and Jenn will make you feel like their #1 customer and serve up some of the most delicious, fresh and unexpected BBQ fair anywhere! It’s all perfection but don’t miss the wings, Smoke and Shave salad or the Corn Crema appetizer. Craft beers on tap and great bar tenders. Outdoor seating is lovely in the fall and the indoor has a great design also!

My husband, 10-month old baby, and I were in the area on a Sunday evening after visiting Scottsdale Farms, and wanted to give a new place a go. Anna warmly greeted us and led us to our table outside. The atmosphere was really nice! My husband had the “broast on toast” chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. I was stuck between the smash burger and the turkey smelt. Anna recommended the turkey smelt and she was correct – it was excellent! The portions are HUGE – a great value for the price. Awesome service as well. We will definitely be back to try the wings next time!

Cute place! The staff is super friendly and welcoming-Brandon’s service was perfect. Loved the smoked turkey-all the meat choices pleased our group. Sweet potato salad was a unique delight, mac and cheese a tried and true success. Looking forward to next time!

The food was so good I forgot to take pictures for the review! We ordered the wings, the chicken tenders, the burger with a side of chili, and the street corn. Incredible meal, the wings were some of the best I’ve ever had, the meat fell right off the bone.

Very pleased with our lunch visit. We had the chili and fish and chips. Both were excellent. Just the right amount of heat in the chili. Oh- almost forgot to mention the cornbread. It was so good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be sure to stop back when we are in the area.
