My sister, her husband and I went to the Baghdad Resturant in Westvale Plaza. We ordered appetizers of 10 piece dolma and Spanakopita. My brother in law ordered the Lamb gyro bowl and my sister and I ordered Lamb gyros. The main dishes came before the appetizers. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Would go there again.

My first experience here wasn’t the best. The service people were quite rude and impatient plus my food came out quite sloppy. Yet, I didn’t write them off and today has been my 3rd time going. #2 & #3 visits were beyond phenomenal. The staff was actually friendly and welcoming this time, making me feel accepted and wanted in their space. Also, today I believe the owner himself took my order and made my dinner dish and I must say its fantastically delicious!! plus, everyone was very kind and attentive, they even gave me a cup of amazing lentil soup while I waited for my to-go order!!! If you’re in the area and are a fan of anything Halal, this spot has gained my good graces and I highly recommend dining here. Bring your family or a hot date. You won’t be disappointed

I ordered kabsa, and it was good, but it was full of cheese that was stuck to the bottom of the plate. It is better to add more fries at the bottom and less cheese to make it more tasty. Sauces and salads were good

We live about an hour outside Syracuse and try to visit this place when we drive into town. The chicken shawarma wrap is excellent and the garlic sauce they put on it cannot be beat. We also like the chicken shawarma plate. Sooo much food and delicious.
They have many different variations of the sandwiches, so make sure you ask questions if you get confused. For instance you can get the shawarma “cold” basically the meat is cooked but the outside bread wrap is not. Or you can get the wrap heated up (like a panini) where the bread is grilled.
Definition worth the visit. Only problem can be parking downtown.

Our family loves authentic Mediterranean food, and Baghdad was recommended by a coworker. We ordered online for pick up which worked fine. The food was good, and we all enjoyed our meals. It is authentic, and was made fresh. We enjoyed it, and agreed we would order again to try different things.

I don’t usually eat gyro but this place has a very unique taste gyro with just a perfect amount of flavor not overpowering anything. The iraqi chicken wings were delicious with amazing sauces on the side. Was a good decision on my way back to home NYC. Five stars from me.

I went a week ago for the first time and my oh my was this food so delicious! Their baklava is the very best that I have ever had! And the food that I ordered was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh and the lamb gyro was perfection! I certainly will be going there again!

The flavors were great, although some pieces of meat were a bit tough and the pita hard. We ordered extra sauces (delicious) so that helped. I’d eat there again though, maybe around a different time of day, to try more of what they have to offer.
