Our small plates style of dining encourages this sense of community and sharing. Level is located on the second block of West Street known as the Arts District.

The food and drinks are incredible, the only thing that took off a star was some of our food came almost 20 minutes after the rest, so we were all done eating when one person received their dinner. The cocktails are creative and delicious. Happy hour is generous (great specials on food and drinks before 6pm). We will return to try more!

Really beautiful place with a great vibe. I think the small plates are overpriced for the portions, but the food was all very good. The cocktails were definitely the highlight! Great service, lovely people. Too bad they don’t do live music nights — this spot would be perfect for that. Would recommend they consider it. We will be back (but maybe for the happy hour specials instead of full priced plates).

recently visited Level with friends – A Small Plates Lounge in the Annapolis area and had a wonderful experience. I tried several vegetarian dishes and was truly impressed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their vegetarian options, not just as an afterthought but as a highlight of the menu. The ambiance was cozy and lively, and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for creative and delicious vegetarian food in a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I was a guest at a 40th birthday party this weekend. Level was a wonderful venue with delicious food. Small plates are such a great idea. Being able to sample so many dishes was fun. The risotto and the ribs were my favorites. The staff were very kind and did a great job. Thanks for the experience. We will be back.

We recently hosted a party at Level, and I can’t say enough great things about the experience! From the very start, working with Eric, the owner, was a breeze—he was incredibly informative, responsive to emails and texts, and made the planning process seamless.

On the day of the event, a projected snowstorm had me very worried, especially since I had guests flying in from out of town that were here for my event. Christian, the event manager, was beyond reassuring. He explained that the restaurant is committed to staying open, even arranging transportation for staff when needed in bad weather. That level of dedication and teamwork truly stood out.

While about half of my guest list had to cancel due to the weather, it didn’t impact the night at all. The atmosphere, food, and drink selection made up for everything. We even got to play our own playlist on their upstairs sound system, which added a personal touch. The staff was friendly, the bathrooms were spotless, and despite my last-minute changes to timing and seating, they accommodated everything with ease.

Between their flexibility, responsiveness, and reasonable pricing, I’ll definitely keep Level as my go-to event space. And I have to mention—their cocktail selection is amazing! If you’re looking for a venue that truly cares about your experience, this is the place to book for an event or a date night!

To begin, they make an outstanding gimlet. Definitely a win. As far as the food, we did the burrata, which was outstanding as well. The poke tuna could’ve been great as well, but it was drenched in soy, so the tuna had no ability to shine. The roasted brussel sprouts were a very good choice. However the Captain Morgan shrimp was accompanied by excellent pickled vegetables, but the shrimp itself needed a hard sear to get beyond just ok. Finally, the mussels were plump, but I was hoping for a bit more spice since the menu said chorizo was in the dish. It was good, but just needed a bit more kick. As far as the service, she was attentive and very good at clearing dishes to make room on our small 2 top.

Love the new digs, as we return to a special place after 7 years. Hostess’ warm welcoming and later helping to secure a later-evening treat (thank you).
Prompt attention by our server (“yes”, Mandy said) who was attentive throughout our experience. Met the owner with a special touch of attention twice during our experience who shared the updating and the present state of LEVEL’s operation…nice touch.
Enjoyed the combination charcuterie with marvelous pate’, cured meats and herbed cheese…a nice sour dough bread would have been a good addition. Ah, next time we ask.
Perfect sized small plate portions, not a tapas, but a bit more of seared (dry, not wet) scallops with a flavorful creamy corn sauce; while the two perfectly seasoned (taste that wine reduction though) lamb chops with herbed mashed potatoes and brocolli rabb were most yummy.
Now, none of the exquisite dessert items tempted us, but that great server, knowing how minds might work, did conjure up an-almost-perfect affogato with our coffee and vanilla ice cream. This is service awareness.
Let’s not forget…we must stay hydrated. Sooooo, do not forget to ask for the unique sangria (just keep it without ice!), with tang, sparkle, and we think a bit of spice (perhaps clove and/or anise).
A most pleasant renewal of memories within a welcoming space, attentive service and, of course, delightful flavors perfectly prepared and served.

We just hosted our daughter’s baby shower upstairs at Level, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The drinks were exceptional, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect—warm and cozy with exposed brick and charming string lights, yet still spacious and functional. We loved how the layout worked for us—we set the guys up near the bar in the back and the ladies up front. Everything came together beautifully, and the staff was truly first-class—attentive, kind, and on top of every detail. Highly recommend!

This was a little while ago now but we held our wedding reception here on the upper floor and it was a brilliant venue. Really accommodating to everything. The food was great the service was great. It was just perfect for what we wanted which was a venue for around 60 guests that didn’t feel like we had to compromise. Now my sister- in-law is getting married (this venue is too small for her) and it just got me thinking about what a wonderful time we had here!
