Normally, I have a good experience at this location when I come in. I get just the sandwich because the upcharge for the combo is a little steep for me, but there was a big sign at the front that said I can upgrade to a combo for a dollar so I thought why not. When I got told the total of my order I thought it seemed a bit higher than what it should have been, but when I asked for the receipt they said they would put it with the sandwiches. After finishing my lunch, I looked at the receipt and I got charged full price for both combos I got for my friend and me. I ask the guy at the counter if maybe the deal is only for the originals. He tells me I can order the combo with the chips and the drink normally or I can get the $1 combo which comes with the chips and the drink. Not fully understanding why I would get charged for the more expensive option, I asked him why I would want to pay more for the same thing and he says that I need to tell them. If it’s my job to let them know I want the special in big letters on the wall behind me when I order, why can’t it be repeated back to me or even mentioned that I am making a purchase that I can get for a lot cheaper. Not to mention that I would normally not even pay that price. If i as the customer am left in the dark about me being charged this way, it seems pretty stingy that I can’t even find out until I get my food. It’s more money than I wanted to spend on something I ONLY got because of the sale. What a JOKE!!!

Super clean store! Staff is amazing! I love the free smells of fresh bread as soon as you walk in. Store manager truly loves her team and it shows. Never any issues and Harry makes the best sandwiches!

More than a hour now still no sandwiches. Called and spoke to the manager
Naomi and she said The driver just left with six orders. We have no idea when you’ll get your sandwiches. He’s not answering his phone. I’ll never order from the Dyer location again!!

The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the food is okay.
Delivery from down the street takes over 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches? Better re word that slogan “freaky fast delivery” to “we’ll get to it when we want”.
Update: you guys have officially lost my business. That email that I received basically said it’s not the fault of the restaurant and I don’t get any type of compensation or way to win my business back. You sure you meant what you said about that’s not how you all do business? Better take another look at JJ in Dyer.
And for the 3rd time in less than 2 months, a piece of my order is forgotten and no forks in the bag! Good job being able to do simple things like reading what people order!!!!

I’ve NEVER left a review for any restaurant, BUT this evening was TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Walked in tonight , spoke to the cashier TWICE , she NEVER spoke back, I asked if everything was ok, she got smart and asked WHY? I said because I said hello twice and you never responded, Her response then, why are you asking if I’m ok,are you gonna call the ambulance? Just EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I gave you 5 stars on the food because the young man who fixed the sandwich was very professional and polite. AS HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
The cashier on your register tonight will definitely run your customers away. I visit this store quite often , but after tonight, I’ve considered taking my business elsewhere. NO ONE should be treated this way, ESPECIALLY when paying customers choose to patronize your business. Kindness doesn’t cost a dime, it’s FREE like the sign in your window says about the smells.

The service in here needs to be addressed. I went in today right when the store opened. I ordered a Beach Club and specifically said “no mayo”. The girl proceeds to drench the top piece of bread with mayo. I spoke up saying “I asked for no mayo please”. In a disgruntled way, she pushed the bread away acting like I inconvenienced and annoyed her. She proceeds to say, “you know it comes with mayo”. Yup, you’re right, it does but I don’t want that. I come home to see my sandwich I paid for drenched in mustard. I didn’t want that either. How rude, unnecessary, unkind and unprofessional of her. I won’t be visiting this location any longer. Your staff needs to be retrained on their attitude and listening skills. How disappointing. Terrible service.

I wanted to give a shout to Christina Vlamakis-Hernandez and her team at Jimmy John’s in Dyer & Highland. I had the pleasure of going to the Dyer Night Out on August 6th with my wife and kids and appreciated the respect that she gives to her customers and the above and beyond energy she gives to Jimmy John’s when she is out doing events which other towns are hosting.

I had the pleasure of meeting her back in 2014 at Jimmy John’s when my wife was pregnant and she was pregnant with her twins as well. Christina always had a smile on her face, took the time to talk with all of her customers, and when me and my wife had a taste for Jimmy John’s she would even ask about her and how she was doing. Still to this day she asks about my wife and kids and provides them a great experience when we go there. My wife appreciated how she was hosting a back to school backpack event at the Highland location which I took my kids to and she made them feel so happy to receive one with the school supplies in them and the Little John sandwich coupon card they used to get their sandwich which they enjoyed a lot.

Jimmy John’s definitely has an absolutely great individual that represents them the way they should be,
