We have always gone to HyVee Market Grille for their Chinese but unfortunately we will never again be coming here for anything. Last night we ordered the family Hy Chi dinner for 4 and everyone of us got violently sick, and my boys are still sick, this has never happened before as we always are ordering from here but we will never again as this was the most horrible experience we have had coming here. Hopefully you do better going forward and no one else gets sick.

Far more than I expected. My chicken sandwich was delicious, as were the fresh-cut fries. Served on the perfect bun. There were ten of us and everyone enjoyed our meals. The chef even came out to check on us! They have great deals throughout the week. Check it out!

This has to be about the most disappointing breakfast I have ever had. The whole time I was here the food was empty and the silverware was empty as well. The food that was out there was cold and not good. I am not sure what Hy-Vee was thinking (or if they were thinking at all). They have made the buffet a joke. The whole thing is self serve. The cups and all the condiments are all over the place with absolutely no organization whatsoever. There is no guidance from staff as to where things are or to suggest any sort of order. Finding syrup for French toast was impossible.

My wife and I had breakfast together this morning and ordering at the counter was fast, meals were quite reasonable, and delivered to our table within 12 minutes. The server was friendly and came back twice to check on us. The restaurant was clean, and all of condiments, napkins & silverware were readily available. We will be back.

Disappointing. There was no staff. The bartender was servicing the tables. He was friendly enough but way overworked. My husband ordered a rare sunrise burger and I ordered well done patty melt. The sunrise burger was well done and the egg was hard fried. My patty melt was rare. The fries and tots were overcooked. The people who were seated after us got their food before us. We have been here a few times in a couple of years and its usually pretty good. I hope the get some staff or they are going to lose their bartender from exhaustion!

Went to try their $6.99 Deal that includes burger, fries, and a beer only to be disappointed because it doesn’t include a burger of your choice and the beer options were very limited. On top of that there was only one person managing the bar and the entire dining area when we got there so service was slow. However more people did show up to work later but doesn’t really concern us since our order was already placed. I wouldn’t say the burger was particularly good or anything but I did enjoy the fries. Overall you get what you pay for, but it would be a better value for the consumer if the deal included a wider selection of beer choices.

It’s pretty lowkey and my server was great. There was a few more than a handful of people seated. She was alone serving the entire place and was still attentive to what I needed. I also liked that they did not have the news on either giant television on the wall. The bloody Mary was bold and spicy like I like it and I also got a full breakfast for $5.
