We were in town for a show and wanted a quick bite to eat. This place was so much fun and had easy, reloadable cards to play the arcade games. They also have some other gambling, and then on the other side of the arcade they had a dining space. Such fun games like Galaga and Miss Pacman. The pizza was cheap and decent. The whole experience was great! Definitely would come back!

I highly recommend Hometown Pizza! We had BBQ wings and the dry rub with the Hot honey and they were big and juicy! We had 3 different pizzas, pickle, hot honey pepperoni and an all meat. Everything was hot and delicious! The arcade was alot of fun as well! The beer was very cold also! Great place to have an appetizer or full meal before a game or event!

This place is the best! One of a kind places to find great pizza and an arcade in the cities. We had a great time here. Kids played video games. Had sports on the TV, drinks and ordered pizza. Best night ever!

Decided to try it after seeing somebody review the dill pickle Pizza on Facebook. Called to find out if we would need reservations and the guy on the other end of the phone was so bright and energetic that we were very excited to come here…
Parking was easy and when we got inside it was easy to find a seat and our server Birdie was attentive and helpful.
The pizza itself had a great crust. I wasn’t expecting that it wouldn’t have a red sauce (which is my fault because there’s nothing on the description that says that it would. It does say it will be a smoked gouda base), so I was surprised but I still found it delicious. It’s very very rich so we are taking most of it home with us.
We also had the boneless wings and the ranch dressing was out of this world. I am told they make it from scratch. Delicious.
Will definitely come back again and try something else.

We ordered 2 XL pizzas in door dash and they came with NO pizza sauce. There was no option to ask for pizza sauce so we assumed when you order pizza (like anywhere else) it automatically should come with pizza sauce but even if it didn’t come with pizza sauce there was NO option to request it on the door dash menu (I have sent a screenshot of what the options were, you will clearly see that pizza or marinara sauce was not an option) . We spent $80 on pizza with no pizza sauce. I called the restaurant directly and they were zero help. Telling us to take it up with door dash. I didn’t know door dash made pizza?!

We were in Minneapolis for a gymnastics meet with our daughters and a few other families and ended up at Hometowne Pizza Minneapolis Bar and Arcade. Honestly it was such a great find.
The place has a really cool vibe. It’s a pizza spot, bar, and arcade all in one which made it perfect for our group. The girls absolutely loved the arcade and had a blast while we hung out.
We had the chance to talk with the owner for a bit and you could tell right away he really cares about the place and about people having a good experience. He went out of his way to bring our girls some really great root beers just for them which they thought was the coolest thing ever.
The food was excellent. We caught their happy hour and ordered wings and they were fantastic. The owner explained they do not fry them. They cook them in a special oven that works kind of like a rotisserie. You can definitely taste the difference. The sauces were delicious. The pizza was also right on point with a great crust and really good flavor.
My husband and I own a bar ourselves so we tend to notice how places are run. The bartender was great, the wait staff was efficient and very polite, and everything just flowed really well.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The owner and staff connected with people on a real level. You just do not see that kind of genuine service very often anymore.
We will definitely be back next time we are in Minneapolis and will be telling other gymnastics families about it. Thanks again for taking the time to talk with us and for making the girls feel so special with the root beers. That meant a lot.

Hometowne Pizza is a hidden gem right next to Target Field—perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a Twins game, especially if you’re looking to avoid overspending at the ballpark. We stopped in with the family and were seriously impressed!
We ordered the Ultimate Meat Pizza, a Kids Cheese Pizza, and the Garlic Chicken Salad with Jalapeño Ranch. The pizza was some of the best we’ve ever had—thin crust, but not overly crunchy, with tons of flavor and high-quality toppings. The jalapeño ranch had a great kick to it without being too spicy—just the right balance.
It’s a family-friendly spot with arcade games that kept the kids (and adults) entertained while we waited. We also tried the Reese’s cheesecake—rich, creamy, and totally worth saving room for (it didn’t last long enough to get a picture of).
