The meat was old and chewy. The pho broth was below average. Noodle was decent. Service was non existent. Over a decade ago, this place was good…now, horrible.

My husband and I love pho sate. Our go to is either eye round steak pho or chicken, white meat pho with chicken broth.

My daughter and I went there to try the pho which was rich and flavorful. I had the beef and brisket, my daughter had the one with everything, both were good. What we really like however was the egg taro port rolls.

Me and my daughter had never tried pho before today but have always liked Vietnamese food and new cuisines. We picked this place for our first pho and it was definitely the right decision; we arrived and were seated immediately. We got #109 beef pho, and it arrived very quickly and was incredible. Beef tasted super fresh and the flavor was just perfect. As a side dish, we ordered the chicken egg rolls and they were so good that we got another plate. The restaurant itself is very spacious and spotless. Our waiter was super patient and recommended the right dish for a first timer. Highly recommend!

I love this place! I have been coming here for the past year and it has become my go to spot. The pho is amazing and their pork rolls are delicious. I come here at least 4 times a month and the service and food have been great! The prices are reasonable for the portions. I have gone to other pho places in the area and either they have been around the same price for less or cost more for less. Their chili oil is one of the best and it might be because it is made in house.

Pho State is a hidden gem for all Vietnamese food enthusiasts, and my recent visit left me with a satisfied belly and a smile on my face. The restaurant’s location might not be the most prominent, but trust me, it’s worth seeking out.

I ordered their signature Pho, and it was a bowl of pure delight. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of herbs and spices. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the generous portion of tender beef slices made the dish even more satisfying. I also appreciated the fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime provided on the side, allowing me to customize the flavor to my liking.

The service was prompt and friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience. However, what truly impressed me was the affordability of the meal. Despite enjoying a hearty portion of Pho, my bill came to just $36, which is quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food.

The ambiance at Pho State is cozy and comfortable, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner. Whether you’re a Vietnamese cuisine connoisseur or trying it for the first time, Pho State is an excellent choice for a delicious and budget-friendly meal.

I’ll definitely be returning to Pho State to explore more of their menu, and I highly recommend you give it a try too. Your taste buds and wallet will thank you!

I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times and always had a good dining experience. However, during my recent lunch visit, I noticed a decline in the quality and portion sizes of the food, particularly the pho I had been craving. The large pho I ordered with tripe, brisket, soft tendon, and round steaks seemed more minor than my previous visits. The first sip of the soup tasted sweet instead of savory, which was unexpected. Adding chili slices and sriracha improved the flavor but didn’t meet my previous experiences.

On a positive note, the Pork Taro Egg Rolls were crispy and delicious. The service was average, nothing exceptional, and the interior ambiance was clean but unremarkable. The dining hall was spacious, divided into smaller sections.

I always check out the other patrons at a restaurant when it’s my first time, as the locals, and people who are from that culture would know the food best.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times now, since I wanted to give there vast menu some justice before I decided to give my review. It’s Vietnamese food, but very different, and a large menu with so much to choose from.

The gentleman who waited on me was the same every time, and he is so patient and helpful, explained the menu well, and made recommendations too.

I tried the flat noodle stir fry the first time on a rainy afternoon, along with the crispy pork and taro eggrolls, which were very tasty, but slightly greasy, of course they are fried!

The second time was during a heatwave, and it was uncomfortably hot inside. The air conditioning seemed to be struggling, there were ceiling fans, table top fans, but I was still sweating, especially while trying to eat my confit Duck Noodles. Never had his dish before, and my Vietnamese friend suggested it. The broth is light, and delicious, with a hint of star anise and herbs, it also had greens that looked like lettuce, and Shitake mushrooms that were succulent, the duck was so tender cooked to perfection and not gamey.

I also got the chicken & beef with crispy egg noodles that reminded me of the Chinese bird’s nest.

The mini chicken rolls, were such a perfect appetizer served with sweet & sour sauce, along with their house chili oil, which has a slight tingle of Schezuan peppercorns, I loved it.

The Salty Plum Drink is my favorite, and was perfect on a hot day.

There is so much more to discover at this restaurant, and I will definitely be back, just not on a hot day.

I’ve dined in and done takeout. their menu selection seems pretty limited compared to other vietnamese restaurants. Their pho broth is flavorful though. The walls are this odd green color and they dont play music are my gripes about dining in. Their staff is always kind.

I recently dined at Pho Sate in Falls Church, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere for diners. The menu offers a wide variety of options, but my personal favorite was the Hu tieu Trieu chau do bien, a flavorful and satisfying dish. The broth was rich and the seafood was fresh, making every bite a true delight. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine, I highly recommend Pho Sate.
