Probably the best seafood restaurant in San Diego! We came here based on a few friends’ recommendations and ordered Combo 3 & 2, lobster, seafood spaghetti, some appetizers, and more. Everything was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. Definitely coming back, highly recommended!

I’m making this review as someone who does not eat seafood. I split the tenders and fries with my daughter. They were amazing… the fries were great! There’s some seafood places that do not put effort into other items on the menu expect seafood and this place is not like that. I genuinely appreciated that!! I also had like a DIY crab bag. I ordered the Cajun butter sauce on the side… literally tasted like heaven!!! I ordered corn and sausage and mixed it all together. So bomb!! It also wasn’t expensive for the sides! I was so full after which is rare at seafood places. My daughter loved the deliver cart. They were super sweet to my daughter. The wait time can be long but that’s expected! My husband and brother love this place. They order crab bags mixed with things! It’s my brothers favorite place to came. Definitely recommend for all types of foodies!

This was our first time eating at Bag o Crab in Escondido. I ordered the shrimp po boy and my husband ordered the chicken strips. I substituted onion rings instead of fries with my sandwich for $1 more.
A cute little robot with a kitty face delivered our food pretty quickly. The shrimp po boy was absolutely delicious! It has fried shrimp, lettuce, onion and the most delectable pesto mayonnaise. The onion rings were lightly battered and the perfect thickness. They were positively wonderful. My husband loved his chicken strips and noted happily they were not very greasy. The fries were done to perfection and tasted great. They are lightly seasoned just the right amount.
Overall, our meal was scrumptious. The servings are quite large and we had lots of leftovers. Our server had a fantastic personality and was friendly and accommodating to boot. The total was $29.75 before gratuity, plus we have another meal in leftovers! I highly recommend Bag o Crab. Enjoy! ♡

The food was literally garlic, I ordered a bag of sea food and it was extra garlicky. Ordered garlic noodles and we tasted more garlic than noodles, I’ve had plenty of seafood broils but this was the worst, literally the food will keep away all vampires!

Ordered the Oyster as an appetizer and they were phenomenal. Sweet and briny just the way we like it. We ordered combo #1 with 1lb of crawfish, 1lb of head on shrimp. Plenty to feed 3 hungry gals . The crawfish and the shrimp were both large, juicy and fresh and the sauce was delicious. Had to share an order of gumbo and garlic fries too. Both were very tasty. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and will be coming back again.

I was craving oysters so we tried this place. Great selection of seafood. Not only crab boils but they had fish and shrimp plates that we enjoyed. The cute cat robot food carrier was entertaining 🙂 I can tell that the owner really cared about hospitality.

If you’re looking for great seafood, good vibes, and just an excellent environment to sit down and enjoy what you’re paying for this is the place. This is my 3rd time here and I’ve ordered the Cajun shrimp, the seafood boil combo 1 and the fried fish along with the cajón fries. This is my new fav restaurant that’s budget friendly yet taste so amazing and the staff are so friendly! Check this place out if you have and add to the goodness here! It’s definitely worth it just like you!!

Rock, Paper, Scissors decided what our meal would be, best of 3! Oh, but did I really lose? I wasn’t looking… it found me! I had dinner with my son here today and we had a great experience! We shared Combo #1 Double Shrimp with Atomic sauce, Medium heat and noodles added in the bag, Cajun Fries & 2 soft drinks, you can go wrong with it! The flavor is addicting! The service was great, the ladies were friendly, and attentive. Our food was delivered to our table fresh, hot and fast. It wasn’t busy when we arrived nor when we left. The restaurant was clean and the setting set the mood to relax after work and enjoy the dining experience. We are definitely go back! They open before noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday, spread the word! (We completely forgot to take a before and aftermath picture!) It’s Good, Trust! Let me not forget the Meow-Bot that delivered our food to our table !
