We’ve stopped in to Redpoint many times over the years on our travels in Oregon. The staff there have always been highly engaged, chill, and helpful with everything: coffee, beers, Smith Rock beta, and gear. We stopped in last month when there to see if they just happened to have a hard to find piece of gear, but alas, they did not. I left my information on a post-it with the hopes they might call if one came in. And remember, I’m not a local. Fast forward a month and I get a call from Will, they have the gear, do I want it. Absolutely!

Not only did Will follow up on my inquiry from a month ago, but he was super chill, gracious, shipped it out the same day, and followed up afterwards. Will is amazing and sets a high bar for any professional in any industry.

Nice little climbing shop. Little sparse on gear options but they make up for it with friendly staff, a great atmosphere, good board games. They have “the best coffee in Smith” and fun events. Great shoe selection.

Great place. Will is the manager. He made the best latte and bagel with cream cheese. Places aren’t any better than this. Looking forward to Central Oregon trivia. Patrick

Very friendly shop, clearly a legit place for people who are into climbing. I’m just a run-of-the-mill hiker, but I felt right at home, service was quick, cold brew coffee was excellent. Guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful.

A true community first gear shop that platforms and supports local businesses and cares about deeply about stewardship of the environment. A great place to hang pre climb for your morning coffee or post climb for some beer and pizza. Also a great weekend hang for trivia and bingo while enjoy the local taps. Love supporting Red Point and always have a great time and leaving with great gear:)

We were visiting smith rock for just a night and one day of climbing. We stopped in to see if we could hire a guide book, and the staff who served us (who works as a climbing guide) gave us heaps of recommendations for single and multi pitch climbs at our grade and what time it will get busy etc. Great vibes, great coffee, lovely staff, guide books for hire and such nice gear on sale. I could spend so long here. Thank you guys !!

Good coffee, beer, gear, comfy place to chill before or after a climbing day. It became a little bit of a second home during my longish stay at smith rock.
