Stopped by Toots Bar in Southern Maryland and had a great experience. The new owner recently took over and completely remodeled the place, and you can tell — everything is super clean, fresh, and well put together.
They don’t have food yet, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The owner is genuinely welcoming, cares about the place, and even bought me a shot while I was there. You can tell he’s putting his heart into making this bar something special.
If you’re looking for a clean, friendly local spot with great vibes, I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out. Looking forward to seeing how it grows!

Came to vacation from out of state and wouldn’t let me into the door because of the shape of my ID. Simple fix: have police with scanners if you’re so worried about unauthorized use of identification. I wasn’t given this by a federalized agency for no reason. Maryland needs to get it together fr. Will never come back even if I have a horizontal ID because the man at the front was very rude about it. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for an actual bar that’s fun. Don’t go here.

I’ve been here before, many times it’s always an okay place but tonight was amazing. They had a band named “Karma” they were spot on and the crowd ate it up. Unfortunately I guess they didn’t advertise or didn’t advertise much so the crowd was probably about 35 persons. I can assure you that all of them enjoyed the music for sure. It could also have been that this band is really an unknown. They are going to have name recognition very quickly though if their performances are consistent. They were adamant professionals and they were great.
If I find out they are playing here again I will be back.
Now almost a year later they and me were there again and they were amazing.
They rocked the house again tonight. Love this band.

Great bar with great music but I heard the bartenders tend to men more than the women. I didn’t believe this until I went and witnessed it firsthand. 25 minutes to get my drink order taken! In all fairness, they were busy but we were passed up a few times! I’m not confrontational so I waited patiently. When we DID get our drinks, we had a great time.

Very nice bar. Its had been a local watering hole for a very very long time. It has updated and remodeled since the last time I was there. I love how they kept the old bar and liquor shelves but bicycles them. Very large outside bar with dance floor and seating. Great corn hole pits also. They have live entertainment every weekend and prior to Covid they also sometimes had food. Busy place with limited car parking, special parking for motorcycles.

There was a great band playing and the place was jamming. Lots of people dancing and cutting loose. Best time in a long time and the management were very friendly and welcoming. I have recommended going to anyone heading down to the Solomon’s area since! There is a huge outside deck bar with covered seating when you need a break from the live entertainment.

Standing there showed an ID. They wanted my driver’s license instead! They knew me and Mrs Claus were generations old enough to drink. My bald head a 7 inch white beard wasn’t good enough. No beef, we left. But every person deserves respect and dignity. Engaging in bullying and harassment violates fundamental human rights. How does me showing an ID hinder underage drinking/purchasing? Flashing it is one thing! But walking off with it, so much information besides my birthday is on that card. I’m not comfortable sharing with some of my own family. Much less a place that reminds me of Rosey’s. Good luck!

Been tryin to get the DRIVETRAIN BAND in there for a long time. Finally got to play there this last weekend. AWESOME BAR, GREAT local people, very friendly and spot on bartenders. The new owners are great people. The crowd was OUR KINDA PEOPLE! Love this place. Biker friendly, and friendly bikers. Great place to hang out and have fun. Southern Marylands BEST KEPT SECRET far as I’m concerned.
