We Walked in with a family of 5 and we’re immediately greeted and seated by their welcoming staff. Hope was an awesome and attentive waitress. From the time we ordered till we got our food was literally 8 minutes. One of the fastest and best lunches I’ve had in a while. If I could give it more stars I would.

Wow!!! It was outstanding!! We were lucky to be seated immediately on a crowded night. Dixie took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for a great dinner. We had to try the flavored margaritas because they were on special. All three flavors we tried were delicious (peach, strawberry, and mango). The chips and salsa are in a class by themselves – excellent! We had a variety of dinners – the chile relleno stuffed with ground beef, the enchilada and taco plate also with ground beef, and just to round things out, the beef taco, enchilada, and tostada plate. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Dixie checked on us often. A great place!!

We have lunch here for the first time. Chips and salsa were spot on! My daughter-in-law and I shared Street Tacos -chicken, fresh cilantro and onions. We loved the rice and beans. It was plenty for both of us. My son got today’s special – Green Enchiladas, with Sour cream drizzle. The grandson ordered a Taco Plate. Generous portions and good service. Second visit I got a small guacamole and a child’s cheese enchilada. It don’t disappoint. Although, we had to ask for chips and salsa.
Another visit, my son and I shared nachos! And even took some home.

Travel Texican Adventures
So we’ve been to about 3 Blue Agaves in San Angelo, Abilene and Tuscola, Texas. So when we saw it in Snyder, Texas we had to stop in to check it out. The place was cute. Service wasn’t very attentive. The cashier took better care of us than our server. Queso Fundido was Spectacular and the cheese was yummy! Seating was ample and atmosphere wasn’t packed. It did smell like a rusty water pipe in there. This go round I tried the chicken fried steak which had zero flavor. I would suggest either the quesadillas or Birria for the win.

This was the first time visiting. It was between this place and another few other options; however, we chose to come to Blue Agave and Mexican Kitchen due to the positive reviews. This place definitely did not disappoint and we will definitely revisit. We ordered the street tacos, carnitas and birria. The portions are amazing and the food is excellent. Our waitress was without fault and was super helpful and super knowledgeable and courteous throughout our whole dining experience.

By far the best restaurant in town! There’s not a single dish or appetizer that I speak negatively about. If you’re in or around the Snyder area, or passing through on your way to Lubbock, Abilene, or Midlamd / Odessa…this place is worth the detour, for sure!

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. We got seated quick. Chips/salsa quick. Drinks and order taken quick. Food delivered quick and was delicious! The waitress was really sweet. I couldn’t get my chips or tea finished before they brought more. I even bought a giant bag of chips to take home to my lady. A stranger bought me a big cup of salsa to take home! Everyone was great, and genuinely a 10/10 dinner.

My First time at blue agave, in Snyder Texas . To my surprise the food was excellent I ordered the Torta plate which the cook did an excellent job! The food/meal was on point and so fresh! I give the chef two thumbs up well done! Didn’t get his name today 10/4/2025! Let me not forget my server/ waitress Giselle your kind and amazing hospitality will never go unnoticed thank you for your help and patient may god bless your hands and everything you touch!
