Deno’s Pizzeria has been a landmark in the Lake Grove neighborhood of Lake Oswego since the early 1980’s and has been locally owned and operated by the Valentine family since 1997. Our family has raised our children in Lake Oswego and there are currently 3 generations working here. The warm friendly atmosphere attracts families and employees living and working in the area. Our hand tossed dough and sauces are made fresh daily. The Valentine family praises their staff for meeting our mission by providing exemplary customer service and high quality food. The pizza takes a while to cook so prepare for that as it’s a real pizza oven.
The dough is very good on all 3 types we ordered. The veggie is good with fresh tomatoes on top. The bbq left me wanting more BBQ sauce. The chicken Parm was delicious.
The Caesar salad was good the dressing was very oily so that was a different take on it.
Seems to be a better place for take out!

first time here, i got a 14″ pepperoni pizza for $23. i was really hungry so i didnt leave even though their menu on here says that item is supposedly $18.75…
i asked the guy there if they were aware of the price discrepency & he said they list different prices on their menu & said “someone else mustve just made up these prices” on google maps…im pretty sure anyone cant just log in & edit your business profile on google. if it was my restaurant, i wouldve offered a discount for the price difference then immediately updated the menu so it doesnt happen again…but im sort of suspicious they dont mind baiting people with the lower price then playing dumb when they come in. i guess you can get away with that in lake oswego.
anyway, got my pizza & left. id like to say it was good for the price, but there were 2 problems:
the outer edge was burned, which was a bummer because i usually start at the crust.
& 2nd, i couldnt stop thinking to myself that it was salty for some reason, i think in the crust. i cant remember ever having a salty pizza before.
the people are nice enough, & theres arcade games & decent seating & parking..but theres places with better pizza for less money.

Nice little local spot with Za by the slice but the price is pretty high for what it is. At $4/slice this certainly isn’t the typical price I’m to or think we should be paying. The sauce has flavor , crust isn’t bland , ingredients taste fresh. But other than that it’s just a regular old pizza parlor in a nicer suburb.

Literally the worst pizza. It does not have ANY flavor. And after I ate one bite of this pizza I let her know it wasn’t good and she just looked at me with a blank look on her face and gave me a box !! So yea we won’t ever be back! And I wouldn’t recommend it if you like any kind of flavor in your food!
