We ordered the one that was warm with butter, and it was delicious! Being new to crab legs as well, this was a whole different flavor field. (You would think all these years in Jersey, I’d be more into seafood, lol)
I enjoyed the whole experience. My friend ordered the Manhattan clam chowder, and he said it was delicious. I tasted the chowder part, and it was tasty, but I wasn’t taking in clams and lobster on the same day. baby steps. The two females that worked there were super nice and loquacuous. Very very friendly. Place is small. Would definitely try again.
Overall, the food was delicious, but felt like the lobster rolls could be a bit.. more. I get that it’s lobster and lobster is pricey, the rolls were well stuff, but they’re basically hotdog buns. I feel like I’ve always had better buns to hold lobster rolls, toasted a bit and buttered for Connecticut rolls, they just felt a bit small I suppose.
The chicken fritters were great, a lot for your money, the slaw and beans with the lobster rolls are just ok. The fries are also great, and out key lime pie was delicious.
The place looks great, parking and seating were no issues, music might be a touch loud, but atmosphere is very fitting.
Overall, it was a great visit, a little bit let down that the lobster rolls weren’t a bit more “Wow”, but was still good. For the app, 2 lobster rolls, and dessert, plus tip, hundred bucks. A good place to scratch that itch for sure.
We’re looking forward to coming back on the regular. If you’re on the island this is a great option for Sushi. We’ll try the lobster next time.
You pass this place on your way to the shore- a great place to stop for a bite! It looked nice and was right by the docks. More outdoor seating than indoor, and was very clean. Staff was super kind and honest about wait times. I recommend calling ahead on your way in or out of the shore to place your order.
If you are passing it on your way out of the shore, don’t let Google Maps try to take you back on the bridge for a u-turn. Drive all the way down the parking lot (along the right side of the restaurant) and make a left on that street. Your gps will reroute!
