I’ve always had a great time at MCL.One of my favorite places for years. Friendly staff especially Lisa Wiseman( manager)and Heidi. (Sorry, I forgot some of the others names as I’ve been living out of town for awhile but always stop in when in town and still always make me feel welcome.)All the bartenders are personable and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for drinks and food. Mel does a great job running kitchen and his specials are delicious. Highly recommend! Had my brother’s celebration of life there and Lisa and her husband Troy were great and set up everything for me! The shelter is spacious and has a bar. Great place for all celebrations. They have a back patio you can watch the sunset from while enjoying a drink. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommend!

As a Marine, I love this place. I got married here, have had/attended parties here and it’s always a good time! On occasion though, I do still miss the ole “bunker”. I had a lot of great times and memories there as well.

I had so much fun! I drank Heineken and I swear it was cheaper there than if I was drinking at home! That patio is what Midwest dreams are made of! I sat out there with a cold beer and watched the storms roll in. It was awesome! I’ll be back for sure! Unfortunately I had already eaten so I did not order food.
