Very down to earth small place.
Homely flavors. Sambhar is simple.
Dosa was tasty, just not crispy thin…byt nothing wrong with it. aloo were good.
Chutneys were meh.
Idlia were soft but not airy and spongy like fresh made. It think they’re premade because they were out in 3 mins !
Overall ok, but nothing like finger licking good

One of the best Indian Dosa restaurant in financial district downtown San Francisco, very friendly staff very hard-working , they are almost closing the restaurant and they serve us. We all very hungry after dinner, finally we happy with service and food

The idli is perfect – so fluffy and beat in the area.
Dosa is not oily like other places
And waffle pizza is unique

Love this place, is our go to for South Indian food

Some of the best idliis I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the ghee podi idliis!! The cheese dosa was incredible as well! Sambar was also so good. I wish they had more chutney options.

December 2025:
Bumping up to five star ⭐. Came back for lunch and enjoyed the masala dosa. Sambar was just as delicious as before. Would definitely come back again.

February 2025:
Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday morning right before noon. .

I have been eating masala dosa since 2000 at Vik’s in Berkeley. This place has dosas which are pretty good.

My dosa was not as crispy as I liked. But perhaps they were having an off morning. They were just starting their day as there was no one else eating at the restaurant when we arrived.

Sambar was very tasty. I wish they sold a side of sambar because I could eat a big bowl of this delicious soup!

We had the OG Dosa and the Mutton Keema Dosa. Both were very good. They were not as crisp and professional as in the best dosa places I have been to, but they were very well made and tasty. The sambhar and coconut chutney I would rate as 4 of 5 for authenticity. Service was quicker than expected as only a few customers were there. Overall a great place to get your dosa fix at a reasonable price for the SF area.

I had high hopes for this place but it failed in food taste as service. You have to ask for a wet napkin to clean your hands with since I didn’t see a bathroom to wash my hands. Who eats dosa with a fork and knife?
Dosa and chutneys were meh. Places in Fremont are way better. This place is a bit overpriced.

Legit South Indian dosa and medhu vada. It’s a small efficient take out place with some seating.

Looks like they forgot about spices to put in their dishes, had masala dosa but it was taste less due to less salt & spices in everything, would recommend to friends who don’t eat spicy ️

So excited for a dosa place in FiDi! We ordered the masala dosa, podi idli fries, and the paneer tikka doffle. While the podi idli fries and doffle were unique, the dosa steals the show: excellent masala, solid chutneys and sambhar, and spice/salt levels are perfect. Everything honestly tasted home-cooked. Service was fast and portion sizes were great.

Great spot for dosa – we will be back for more!
