Very welcoming and friendly! Seating was comfortable and pleasant environment. Food was DELISH’ Had edenamme, clear broth soup with mushrooms and onions, pork katsu bento dinner and chicken with vegetables and fried rice.

Amazing place. Some of the highest quality tuna, fried rice, and every different appetizer/meal in the NW Ohio or Southern Michigan area with very reasonable price for exceptional quality. Candy, drinks, decor, atmosphere, etc. are all great as well. 100% recommend!

Hands down the best sushi spot in Southeast Michigan. Trust me, we’ve tried them all. I highly recommend the Tiger Roll, and their house made ginger dressing is ridiculously good. We have been here 50+ times over the past few years and I do not know that we have ever tried something we have not liked. The staff here is incredible, inviting, super friendly, and we get smiles as soon as we walk in. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is perfect for us, quiet and peaceful with a great aesthetic.
We come here exclusively at this point when we get a sushi craving and cannot recommend Kiku enough. If you want quality, fresh sushi, hot food, or even just to grab a few drinks, you will not regret visiting Kiku.

I’ve been here approx 5 times. Every time the food has been great. I usually get a bento box or one of their sushi rolls combos (2/3 rolls and soup or salad). On every occasion, I’ve been unable to finish my food because of the large portion sizes. We have also had the same server every time. She is a very friendly and attentive waitress that hustles. The most recent time I went, almost every table was full and she was the only waitress… she was working so hard and everybody seemed happy in the restaurant. We will continue to come back because of their service and great food.

TERRIBLE. I came to this place a little while ago and it was amazing so i came back for my birthday. Went in, she asked if she should serve us to the guy. She proceeded to seat us and say “we close at 9”, and rushing us. We were in there at 8:30, ordered 8:34, got our food at 8:53. At exactly 9 she came over asking us to pay so they can close…. Absolutely no time, they weren’t advertised to close early. Then i found THREE hairs in my food, definitely not mine i have curly red hair these were straight black hairs. My steak was so undercooked it was cold inside and she did nothing about it. As i’m sitting here i’ve seen someone go in and pick up an order. I will never come back.

Love that this place is in Monroe. It’s nice to have a fresh sushi option here. We have never been disappointed with anything that we have ordered. The Wait Staff are friendly and fast. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

We are regulars here and everytime they never disappoint! Highly recommend this restaurant. They have a variety to choose from and very friendly staff. A few favorites of ours would be seafood hibachi fried rice, yummy roll, teriyaki squid, and black dragon roll. Also enjoy yourself some saki!
