Today, my husband and I found the most wonderful little breakfast spot filled with incredible people doing incredible things. Food was delicious !!! If you’re ever in the Aliquippa area, make sure to check out Uncommon Grounds Cafe. Andrenna is a beautiful soul. We will definitely be back.

This place is a diamond in the rough, but there’s nothing rough hewn about the friendly welcome. The moment you walk in the door, you feel like you’ve just put on rose colored glasses. I was there tonight for a private family event. The food and drinks were quite refreshing, there were cool paintings on the walls made by the owner, a very lovely outdoor area for gathering and celebrating, and a whole lot of beautiful smiles. You can feel the hope and determination in there, and not just to serve a great lunch. It’s certainly worth a trip if you want to find good food, good company, and good mojo.

We held our Memorial at Uncommon Grounds. I love this cafe. It has a library upstairs. The artwork is fantastic and its artists are local. The jewelry is handcrafted. The owners, Herb and his wife go out of their way, for EVERYONE. Also, they’re friends of mine. And, they’re friends to everyone else. Please, stop in for a cup of great coffee or a sandwich. They run on donations and it doesn’t matter who you are, everyone is welcome to join the fun at Uncommon Grounds!! One Love!
