I’m going to be talking about The Space for weeks to anyone that will listen. It was THAT good. The moment we walked in and got hit with the smell of what they’re cookin – we were sold. French onion dip app 10/10. Smash burgers (i got oklahoma and he got smashy) also 10/10. The crispy edges are unmatched… heaven sent. Finished off with the creme brûlée cheesecake, no surprise, it was a 10/10. The vibe is so dope. The staff is awesome and you can tell they actually WANT to be working here. Food is clearly made with top notch fresh ingredients. Cooked impeccably. The dishes are creative and I want to try every single one of them. 10000/10 experience. Can’t wait to be back.

We made the trip from Bloomington to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff was fun, accommodating, and patient with our large group! We were a bit rowdy but our server, Liv didn’t skip a beat. We had so many appetizers but the wings were a favorite. I also had the Porklahoma Burgersmash and farm salad. Everything was hot and delicious. Not a single complaint from our group. I appreciate their experimental menu and fun mocktails! I tried the Apple Tartini and found it pleasant. They also have NA wine. Can’t wait to go back!

The burgers, side fries, and side salad were good. However, the truffle fries had a strange smell – we think it was the cheese, but we’re not entirely sure.

We sat outside and had to kill at least ten small flies. It was a nonstop battle.

The service was great! The automatic 18% service fee felt more than fair given the excellent service, but the mobile POS also displayed additional tip options, which made it feel a bit like forced tipping. Thankfully, our server was transparent about the 18% service fee.

Stopped here for lunch when traveling through. Husband is gluten free so we needed a place he could eat. Found The Space on google. Did. Not. Disappoint. The smash burgers. Holy. Cow. They have a GF dedicated fryer so hubs could enjoy fries, wings, and just about anything else from the fryer. The GF bun was toasted in the oven and tasted amazing. House-smoked bacon was divine. Service was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating in a cute little downtown area. Highly recommend. We will be back when in the area!

A decent place to get a meal with friends. Decent food and drinks. The atmosphere looks so hipster. They have a hipster price as expected. This is what you get for a hipster place I guess. The falafel is good, the burger is good, the hot dog is good . One note, 18% tip automatically included in your bill.

Not sure how I never noticed this place before but it is such a cute and quirky restaurant. There’s art everywhere that looks to be done by local artists, our plates were old school McDonalds, and the music playing, I realized after a few songs, was all songs from the Shrek movies—definitely a humorous realization.

I ordered the chicken sando that comes with vegan chicken, marinara, and provolone, and it was such a good, hearty sandwich. The fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while. I’m normally a sauce person and can’t stand fries without them but these didn’t need it. Great flavor and moisture and crunch all on their own. I also had an off-menu ice cream that was served with bee pollen and olive oil, recommended by our lovely server. Was a little nervous about the oil but it was tastefully added and honestly worked super well, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Definitely would recommend stopping by for a casual lunch; the menu is small but creative and has a great variety to choose from.

This is our favorite place in CU. Best smash burgers around! The lace edges are ridiculous and groan-worthy. Plus fantastic higher end food- all so fresh and flavorful. The salad with salmon is huge. French onion dip with freshly made chips are a great starter. We like the Beet salad too- delicious and unique with the Labneh cheese.

Definitely a different vibe as far as the atmosphere but omg the food sooooo good!!! The drinks were amazing too! Mussels were perfection and the wings fried in duck fat were absolutely delicious We highly recommend anyone try it. We did lunch but looks like there’s live entertainment and loads of fun for dinner too.

Managed to pop in before the dinner rush to try a smash burger and some duck fat fries. It was downright indulgent with how saturated in fats and oils they were. Left a massive positive impression, but it’d probably be even better a few drinks in.

We were super stoked to visit this restaurant as we’ve heard great things.

The majority of the food is priced pretty standard, however, they have a pasta dish that is “on the whim” so it changes BUT, there is no price listed.

They had a carrot risotto on the menu tonight. No meat, no protein, just carrot curry risotto. It was okay, nothing crazy. But it was $36. Mind you, it was just the risotto. There was no protein as I said, no side salad, drink not included.

We actually had quite a laugh because at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, his award winning risotto is $33.

Overall, okay food, but pricing is sketchy on some items.

EDIT TO OWNER RESPONSE:

Hello!
This seems to raise bigger concerns as we were absolutely charged $36 for the risotto. Not only were my husband and I charged this, our friend was also charged this price. We were not offered a receipt but we know for a fact that we paid $36 because we ordered the burger and the risotto. The burger was $14. and our meal was over $50. With waters.
