Had the doner plate with fries subbed for the pilaf. This is one of the restaurants I wish gluten liked me because it looked very good. The doner was piled generously and had good flavor. The salad was surprisingly excellent, I’m not usually a salad guy. My dining companion also had doner but the wrap and enjoyed it. He also had a flatbread and enjoyed it.
Had the Turkish coffee and the tea. The coffee came with a Turkish delight/lokum. Had the tea with the goat milk ice cream which was so creamy.
They were happy to help me substitute some gluten free options. I want to go back and try their soups.
The staff was kind and helpful
Unfortunately we can’t eat eggs and their breads have eggs in them. It would be amazing if they could make the bread without eggs to allow more people to enjoy their dishes.
Ellerinize sağlık! ☺️ Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Turkish food!
I think ordering the fries and it being salty as it were, it made the lamb shish taste underwhelming and under seasoned. I appreciated the lamb cubes were tender but I kind of wish there was more flavor/seasoning to the whole lamb shish.
An area of improvement is, make it clear that this is self-serve at checkout? Or at least a reminder when we’re paying to grab the cutlery . This way we can be sure to go grab water, cutlery, and bus ourselves. I was really confused but too hungry to ask.
They also have really nice Turkish breakfast as well as a good variety of appetizers.
