We stopped in Pintlala for a rest stop and were hungry for lunch. None of the regular options sounded exciting – Subway, Hardee’s, etc. – so my husband Googled local places to eat and found THIS gem!! About 9 Miles South of Pintlala, immediately off of I-65. Good home-cooked food, very friendly proprietors, great recommendations! With lunch specials and Surf and Turf on Friday nights, we are sad we are just passing through!! They even cater! The restaurant is inside the Mid-State Stockyard building. Don’t miss it!!
