Exceptional dinner! Tara, our waitress was phenomenal! Chef Jason went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our evening as well as the manager! Food was delicious portions were filling and we left completely satisfied! The pizza for dessert was unreal! We love the Chioppini pasta and the pesto Shrimp dish! Everything was fresh, warm and delicious!

We stayed at Sun Seekers resort for vacation.
This Italian restaurant is a light walking distance from the main hotel . I had their version of the margarita pizza. It was cooked very well and I enjoyed it.
Our party of eight all enjoyed our food. Everyone was able to order what they liked.
The pesto dishes are very rich!
Hopefully we will be able to return soon.

Me and my husband had dinner here the night after our wedding, and it was absolutely exceptional. The food was unreal. We ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs and the Pappardelle. Both dishes were to die for in taste and presentation. Both of the appetizers we ordered were also a delicacy but MOST importantly, Tara, our waitress was EXCEPTIONAL. She went out of her way in every sense to make our night super special. Service was top tier throughout the whole restaurant. The general manager and the chef both stopped at our table to ask us how our experience was going. We were simply blown away at the level of detail and treatment we received. Lastly, Tara recommended the Pizza dessert and it was absolutely mouth watering. Must try restaurant. We will definitely be visiting both the resort and restaurant again.

The cocktails at the bar were amazing and the bartenders Jesse and hannah were professional and very friendly.
The chef from the kitchen came to our table several times to inquire and greet us, and the seven of us raved about the food.

Fantastic experience! Everything was excellent—from the quiet ambiance to the incredible food. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our server, Jose, was outstanding! He was attentive, friendly, and made our night even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious. We had the special eggplant parm, the pappardelle pasta and the calamari appetizer. All 3 were A+++. There’s a large wine selection. We tasted several of the Italian wines, and they were all amazing. What a treat. Our server Molly was awesome. She had great recommendations for wines and made sure we had an incredible evening!!! For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the tiramisu and the panna cotta.

We were a party of 4 on a Saturday night! From the moment we walked in the service was friendly and attentive. We were immediately seated at a table with a view to the kitchen. Their workspace was tidy and efficient, although they were hosting a large party in addition to their regular guests. Our server immediately arrived with a trainee in tow and was attentive to our every need including menu item alterations.. My sister and I had the special , Lobster and shrimp scampi. When I say I was blown away by the food, it is not an exaggeration. The pasta screamed freshly and expertly made it was fresh and light and unlike any I had ever had. The lobster was dusted lightly with an airy crumb topping and tender and the shrimp was fabulous. My husband and I will definitely be back. I hate that the restaurant is tucked at the end of the hotel. It deserves front and center at the resort! Hats off to the chef and his team.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience! Our server Christopher made our experience wonderful, accommodating to our preferences, no questions asked! The team was wonderful and watching the team prepare our food was wonderful! We will definitely be back! Oh, and how can we forget, the food was delicious!! Hand made pasta is what we were told! Just a wonderful experience!

I was going to leave a 3 star but the service was exceptional so leaving a 4. Marth, the host was incredible and very friendly. Jose, was our server and he did a great job as well. We also had the manager, Jack and the head chef, Jason come out to chat with us as well. Service was great. We had really high hopes for the food, we tried 3 appetizers and 3 entrées. Bruschetta was the best app, the calamari just wasn’t good and there was a ton of other food like potato’s, banana peppers, etc. there was probably 50% or less calamari and it was chewy and over cooked. The meatballs were okay just not a lot a flavor at all for a red sauce. Now for the entrées it was a lot of the same, chicken parm was over cooked, clam linguine was cooked good but literally no flavor at all. The margaritas pizza was an overly cheesy pizza with tomato and mozzarella cheese slices thrown on top.
For an Italian restaurant, we order these dishes more often than not. Just weren’t impressed and wish we could say we’d come back because the service truly was exceptional. They need to work on their dishes, maybe it was a bad night for them. Hope it’s not the norm.

Our dining experience at stretto was amazing! We sat outside and enjoyed a martini while watching the sunset. I highly recommend that 🙂
Tara was spectacular and truly made my boyfriend’s birthday celebration special! Her recommendations from appetizers to dinner were perfect and on point! We started with the octopus, raw tuna & garlic bread which were all to die for! For dinner we had the gnocchi and clams which were both delicious! We also sampled the Fig, prosciutto pizza which was 10/10! She ended our night by bringing us over a dessert (pizza & cream) which the name doesn’t do it justice lol but it was delicious!!! She is one of the best servers we’ve had in a while! Thank you Tara and staff for a wonderful time 🙂 We can’t wait to come back!! If you live in Punta Gorda or the Port Charlotte area it is a must try!
