Founded by Senegalese French sisters Aminata and Rougui Dia, Le French is a gourmet, casual-chic French bistro located in Denver’s bourgeoning Belleview Station. Le French specializes in elevated modern Parisian cuisine with global influences, a nod to the sisters’ heritage. We’re currently open for socially distanced dine-in service, as well as curbside pickup. We’ve taken numerous steps to ensure the health and safety of our team and guests, including offering a limited number of tables to provide at least 6 ft. between parties, face coverings and daily temperature checks for employees, thorough sanitation procedures following each seating and much more. A fantastic find in the DTC! Le French offers a beautiful, casual-chic atmosphere that manages to be both sophisticated and incredibly welcoming.
Unlike many bistros that stay strictly traditional, they serve food from across France and beyond, which adds a unique, modern depth to their menu.
What we loved:
Charcuterie Plate: Excellent selection of meats and cheeses—the perfect start.
Merguez: A delicious addition; the spices were spot on and added a great kick to the meal.
Moules Frites: Absolutely delicious. Fresh mussels, flavorful broth, and the frites were spot on.
Wine List: Very well-curated with great pairings for the diverse menu.
The highlight of the evening was the hospitality. The owner heard us speaking French and took the time to come over and introduce himself. It was such a gracious, personal gesture that truly elevated the experience.
We will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone in Denver looking for a high-quality meal with a personal touch!

This was one of the best dining experiences that I have ever had. It was my first time having escargot. I am in love. The cost was worth the trip. It can be a bit loud from other customers but that can’t be helped.

My husband ordered the muscles, he said they were very good. I ordered the Crepe Jabon Fromage. Not impressed. The Crepe itself was tasteless, the edges were like a cracker. No ham on my Crepe. I do not like chicken, so I believe there was a mix up. What little I ate landed hard in my stomach, couldn’t eat after that. My husband did order desert, it was refrigerated, he said in the past he had eaten it, but was served at room temperature this was why the filling was waxy and the outer part was again without taste. I love eclairs the shell was like one, but this was topped with powdered sugar and almond slivers. Can’t remember the name. All and all, nothing I ate was special or outstanding.

Been coming here for years. Love their crepes. I’ve tried them all. The charcuterie board is nice. Cocktails are yummy. Brunch is my favorite time to come since they have a nice patio furniture.

We had a wonderful dinner last night.
Alex, our server, made great suggestions and was friendly and helpful. The escargot made my mom very happy! She hadn’t had them in years, and they were delicious! The vegetarian onion soups was very tasty. Loved the beet salad and the bouillabaisse! Our son thought the boeuf bourgonion was excellent!
They put on the Broncos game for us, which was much appreciated!
The chocolate pastry was decadent! If you love chocolate, you won’t regret it!

The Nutella crepe was great! Generous with the Nutella the smoked salmon crepe was delicious! Best we’ve had so far. The cream puff pastry (idk what it’s called) was scrumptious!!
The mimosa with orange juice was okay. The juice was watered down so couldn’t taste any of the juice, just the sparkling wine ☹️
The coffee was fine. I asked for sugar and was given Splenda packets ♀️
The server took a long time to get us water. We asked for a table and were told there were seats at the bar (but there were tables for two everywhere!)

We flew to town to visit family and came by here for lunch. We sat outside in the patio and had a wonderful lunch. I had the Norte Burger and we had the cheese appetizer. All food was freshly cooked and the service was delightful.
