Wouldn’t go back. The prices were way too high for a grocery store food court. We paid restaurant prices without getting restaurant portions or atmosphere. Spent $43 for two entrees and a soda. The bulgogi was dry and on the small side, and the jjampong soup was so spicy it was hard to enjoy. Not worth it.

It’s a great place for a quick bite. The food is good quality, not extra salty. The advantage of this place is that it opens at 10am, before other restaurants open. The price is also better than some other places. The environment is clean, only concern is that the music in Hmart may be too loud sometimes. And some od the k-pop songs don’t sound very appropriate for children… Also, it’s cold since it’s in a grocery store.
I ordered K12 bibimbap. The dish is good and the pot is really hot, which sears the rice to perfection. The yellow picked radish is not as good as some made by a restaurant, but the price is also lower here so I didn’t expect it to be amazing. The main dish is good though, nothing to complain.

A hidden treasure, this small restaurant is located inside the H-Mart. Very delicious food as well as a wide variety of authentic Korean Dishes. During this visit I ordered the beer and sliced rice cake soup. It had a very rich, yet well balanced taste. This is a very simple eatery, with a small food-court like set up and a very friendly staff.

I recently went to the Burke H Mart Food Court and tried their noodle soup. Their noodle soup was fairly decent. It had a good amount of salt, but was a little light on the spice. I also got the coffee and bubble tea from the food court. The coffee had a nice roast to it, and the bubble tea was freshly made. The service was polite, and drinks came within a 5-10 minute timeframe.
This food court has a lot of potential, but unfortunately does not have enough seating that could attract more customers. It’s sad because I go to the Hmart Fairfax food court, which has a bustling food court.

Best food court korean restaurant in NOVA. Their chicken kkanpungi (even though it portion seems decreasd a bit), JJampong and Yubu noodles are my favorites. I’ve been going here since they opened and am still regular every sunday.. even after I moved away from the Burke area. I was single when it opened, n now I bring my son and daughter to it. Both of em love it as well. Strongly recommend.

A little surprised at the lack of reviews so I’m adding mine. I’ve been going to Matjib for as long as the Burke Hmart has been open. Prices were and still are pretty good for the quality and quantity. It does feel jarring to see the prices go up but there was a very sweet letter posted about their decision-making process. Aside from that, the restaurant is very casual amidst the back of the supermarket but the food is just as good as any other Korean restaurant in the region. Their dishes never disappoint for all the years I’ve been here. I do hope you have a similar experience as I do, a jaded foodie who found a place of consistency.

Not sure why this isn’t getting more reviews. But I can see that it’s like a lil’ place located in HMart. And not many people go to a asian grocery store to eat. But the food here is amazing and really authentic. Been here for lunch many times.
