Bánh Mì Ông Béo in Chantilly, Virginia was actually pretty good!
I tried their pan-seared egg bánh mì with crispy fries, and everything tasted really nice. The flavors were super satisfying, and the combo hit the spot! ✨
A great place to stop by when you’re craving Vietnamese comfort food.

The staff was welcoming and the food was excellent! I chose a dish from the specialty menu – Banh mi Bo Ne (Beef steak). This contemporary take on the sizzling beef steak, accompanied by pate, a fried egg, and crinkle-cut fries, is served on a hot cast iron plate. It includes freshly baked bánh mì bread. Ideal for either lunch or dinner!

The coffee was amazing, nice and strong like authentic Vietnamese coffee.

The banh bao was delicious and flavorful. The only thing I didn’t like was the water chestnut (I think that’s what it’s called) in there. More dough to meat ratio. It’s sold in the fridge but you can ask to warm it up if you want to eat it right away.

The banh mi is really good as well. Lots of meat and veggies. Definitely worth the price for the size.

Overall, a great place to get a quick bite.

We’ve had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Banh Mi Ong Beo in Chantilly twice now, and each visit has been absolutely delicious and satisfying. This cozy Vietnamese spot delivers flavorful, comforting meals at a great price—and it’s quickly become one of our go-to places for a quick, hearty bite.

On our recent visit, we ordered the Banh Mi Bo Ne and Banh Mi Chao, both served with fresh bánh mì rolls that are perfect for dipping and savoring every bite. The Bo Ne came sizzling hot on a cast iron skillet with tender beef, crinkle-cut fries, onions, egg, and herbs—everything you want in a comforting, savory meal. The Banh Mi Chao was equally impressive, with house-made meatballs, slices of Vietnamese cold cuts, pate, egg, and veggies, all beautifully arranged and packed with flavor.

To pair with our meal, we tried two of their signature drinks: the Sea Salt Vietnamese Coffee and the Ong Beo Iced Coffee. Both were bold, rich, and refreshing—just the caffeine boost we needed to round out our meal.

Ordering is easy and convenient, whether you prefer ordering in person, using the self-service kiosk, or placing an online order for pickup. We also love that they sell their bánh mì bread on its own. Our son is obsessed with it—the crust is perfectly crisp, while the inside is soft, airy, and incredibly light. It’s so good, we always grab an extra loaf to go.

Banh Mi Ong Beo offers a wonderful balance of authentic Vietnamese comfort food, welcoming service, and great value. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

First time eating here since they rebranded and I was so pleasantly surprised! Interior is a lot more welcoming and there are tables and bar seating against the window. Prices are reasonable for the area, $8 a sandwich, and they also do a B5G1 deal. We got the Xiu Mai and Xa Xiu banh mi along with their signature Ong Beo coffee. The bread is very fluffy and crispy, but not so crispy that it hurts the inside of your mouth. Generous fillings and the sandwich itself is quite large. The coffee is smooth and the crème brulee topping is actually torched on top, which we didn’t expect! I would definitely come here again since there’s hot entrees on the menu that we didn’t get to try, and this beats driving to Falls Church for authentic banh mi.

An awesome Binh Mi shop in the Chantilly shopping center.

The Banh Mi is puffy and crispy, lots of meat in it and very fresh veggies inside it! It is very good quality for a very fair price! If your a Banh Mi fan, I recommend you come and try it out! There is also many other food choices and their drinks are not bad either.

First time coming here and it is by far the Best Banh Mi I’ve ever had! A lot of other places are either overpriced or they skimp out on the meat but this place has the perfect ratio of crispy bread, flavorful meat and vegetables for a reasonable price. This will be my new regular spot!

This charming shop specializes in Vietnamese sandwiches conveniently located in the Sully Place Shopping Center in Chantilly. During my visit, I enjoyed trying their Xa Xiu BBQ Pork sandwich. It featured marinated pork in a sweet char-xiu sauce, complemented by pickled radish and cabbage, chili pepper, cilantro, and cucumber; all served on a nicely toasted baguette. The sandwich offered a delightful balance of flavors and textures, making it a satisfying yet light option.

I also enjoyed the Vietnamese avocado smoothie, which was both refreshing and pleasantly mild in sweetness. Additionally, the homemade cheese yogurt was a highlight—rich, creamy, and subtly sweet, it made for a delightful dessert, although I did find the portion size a bit small.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, bringing the order directly to my table, which added to the positive experience. While the restaurant is smaller, it exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. I look forward to returning to explore the other offerings on their menu.

i’ve been coming here for a couple months and it’s honestly my fav spot to get banh mi. I usually get the Dac Biet but my last visit i tried the chicken teriyaki and lemongrass beef banh mi and they were super good! They always have so much meat and veggies in their sandwiches. Absolutely loved their ong beo coffee which has a crème brûlée foam!! 10/10 recommend this spot!

Stopped by again today because we were craving their lemongrass beef after having it last two weeks for the first time. Last time, the waitress joked and promised we’d be back for their sandwiches-and we actually did. She even remembered us, which honestly made the visit feel extra welcomed.
The banh mi was just as good as the first time, same delicious, consistent flavor that made us fall in love with it in the first place.
