A ranchera tacos was delicious! I usually like vodka drinks but tried the gin drink SINGAPORE SLING and it went down so smooth I could have drank that all day. I’m totally planning to come back again soon. The atmosphere is like walking into the set of Casablanca. Relaxed and otherworldly experience in the foothills of Colorado.

Beautifully designed, fun, laid back vibes set the tone. We had a great server! I wish I could remember his name (Scott?). We came specifically for the poke, which did not disappoint. It was delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection. The iniki fries were a great compliment. The pizzas coming out to other tables looked so appetizing. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you!!

This is a very cute venue. I would buy one of the large wicker chairs if I could. (Google lens told me it was probably custom made ) Lots of textures in the space – really cozy vibe. A++ on the decor. Service was also excellent and friendly.
I would say this is probably a really great drink spot, but I didn’t try an alcoholic drink as we came in for breakfast. Honestly, their grilled pineapple black hot tea was probably my favorite part. My husband and I are originally from the Midwest, and their breakfast selections gave a nod to the Midwest in my opinion. Spam….mushroom gravy over a burger with white rice (did I fall back to Nebraska?) Not what I was anticipating. We came in blindly, not checking out the menu beforehand. Hawaiian Fried Rice and FOCO MOCO, acceptable, but we wouldn’t come back for these meals for sure. Churro donuts were dry, not enough sauce to get it down. This will never be a popular brunch place with the options they have right now. May try once more for drinks and small plates. Hope they can bend and flex to keep this cute spot afloat.

A 10/10 experience and we haven’t even gotten our main course.
Miranda is the BEST. Her service is amazing. Drinks are amazing. And the melted cheese ‍ AMAZING.

Make a reservation (NO REALLY!) and check this place out.

This was our first visit to Sugar Salt Sang and we will definitely be back to try the many items on a very creative menu. First impressions are vital and going up bright tile fronted stairs to this second floor set the tone. Decor imaginative with that island feel . . . live plants, wicker hanging lamps, seating choices from cozy booths, tables and random high-backed wicker chairs and even comfortable open wrap around booths loaded with pillows where we were seated. Our reservations (definitely recommended for evenings) were early at 5:30. We did notice that as more folks came in, conversation noise levels went up, but not a problem – and service remained perfect throughout – thanks to our server, Blake, who was very natural, relaxed, courteous, efficient and attentive. Excellent ! Thanks Blake !
The menu was actually fun to review – lots of variety from Red Snapper to GF foods to smothered fries. My best friend (aka wife) ordered three different small Tacos. We agreed the shrimp was the best over the pork and beef – but all were creative and delicious.) We also shared my order of fried Cod Sliders which were fresh and highly recommended. The meal was very satisfying but we overdid and had the Cinnamon Churro balls (a bit dry) with caramel ice cream and fresh strawberries and puree. Wow. Want an ending ! ( Also – Drinks were totally island, creative and served in a variety of funky fun mugs – many with the traditional “umbrella.” The food platings too were attractive and unique. ) Lastly, need to give a shout out to Logan, our maitre- de host, for graciously and easily moving us to a different nearby booth with a large window view of our charming town still lit from the Holidays. Highly recommend Sugar Salt Sand !

I was SO impressed with this restaurant! The drinks were adorable and delicious. Surprisingly the burger was insanely delicious. Also loved the fries and fries rice. Our waitress was this pretty brunette girl who couldn’t have been more friendly, warm and helpful (one girl didn’t like her drink and the waitress comped it and got her a different one).

I stopped by Sugar, Salt + Sand in early December and was so happy to see how much the drink menu has expanded. You can really tell the bar manager is leading the creative direction; it shows in every detail.

The happy hour offerings are solid, and the cocktails are genuinely fun. Thoughtful flavor combos, great balance, and beautiful glassware make each drink feel intentional. It’s one of those menus where you want to try more than one just because everything sounds good.

It’s always a good sign when you can feel the care behind the bar, and this place continues to deliver. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s absolutely worth a return for the drinks alone.

We went to Sugar Salt Sand for Valentine’s Day with a 6:15 reservation and finished around 8:30. It was very busy, as expected for the holiday, but we never felt frustrated by the wait.

Our server Blake was outstanding. He was kind, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive even though he clearly had a full section. We never once felt forgotten. I have celiac disease, am lactose intolerant, and am currently five months pregnant, so eating out can be stressful. Blake immediately knew what was safe for me, answered questions without hesitation, and was very reassuring the entire time.

I ordered the gluten-free chips and salsa and the mango tilapia tacos (GF), and everything was delicious. My fiancé ordered the Valentine’s four-course special and loved every course, along with the wine pairings. A manager stopped by twice to apologize for the wait, but honestly we didn’t mind at all given how busy they were and how well the meal was paced. They also brought out a complimentary mango and coconut mochi with raspberry coulis, which my fiancé said was excellent.

When we received the check, my fiancé noticed that Blake had clearly written “!! CELIAC !!” on the ticket and the kitchen took it seriously. As someone who has to be extremely careful, especially while pregnant. That meant a lot and made me feel genuinely safe eating there. We love Japango downstairs and had high hopes for Sugar Salt Sand, and they absolutely delivered. The food, service, and overall experience were a 10/10 for us. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVED all of the decor and the overal vibe of the place. My partner and I were sat in a booth and there were probably about 30 flies buzzing around us even though the windows we were next to was closed. We went during a slow time(we were one of 2 couples in the entire restaurant) and waited what seemed like forever to order and then to get the check!
