I been ordering from this papa John’s for two years because they are the close ones to Bulverde. Never once had my pizza come on time. It’s always over an hour. It came 30 mins late today I called and told them just cancel it at this point they said it’s already out and should be there soon. 5 mins later it arrived cold. If I wanted to wait an hour and half to get cold pizza(which it isn’t the first time) I would have just ate what’s in my fridge. I’m just feed up with it.
Update: The managers called and text me to apologize and offered me a free pizza to make up for it. I just got it today. It was hot and timely service. Taste delicious I really appreciate them taking the time to make things right

If you want mediocre pizza, go ahead and save a few bucks and order from Little Caesers Pizza. We’ve ordered from this pap hohns for 10 years but over the past year the quality has gone completely down hill. We spent $42 on 2 pizzas and got one of the worst pizzas in the history of Italy. I paid for extra sausage and cheese, instead they completely avoided adding any topping to the center of the Pizza. Highly recommend avoiding this Pappa Johns.

Excellent experience tonight at this Papa John’s. I ordered a bunch of stuff, 20 min before they closed and I got the best service. Very professional & friendly.

Unfortunately given that I live in Bulverde, this is the closest Papa John’s to my house by far. Every single time we come here the manager is consistently belittling his employees in front of the costumers, and the food is never ready when they say it is.

Joanna went far above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, from double-checking my order to making friendly conversation while I waited. Her professionalism and kindness truly made my visit special. It’s rare to find such dedicated employees who genuinely care about customer satisfaction, and she is definitely one of them!
Of course, the food was fantastic as always—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. But it’s exceptional service like Joanna’s that keeps me coming back. If you’re looking for great pizza and the best customer service, this Papa John’s location is the place to go

Went to pick up a couple of pizzas, no one acknowledged. The guy making the pizza was yelling at his helper for cheese and other things. Very rude. After standing there like an idiot for about 10 mins, I yelled out that I was there for a pick up. The guy looked at me & went back to making the pizza. He finally came to hand me the pizza with no apology & no thank you! I’ll never go there again Guy was very rude.

I ordered a pizza and garlic knots. When i get home i open them up and find that the garlic knots had never been sauced. (IE no garlic spread over them). And to top it off it looked like someone had crushed the garlic cup and then put it in the pizza box, spilling out into the box and eventually leaking out Onto my cars chair as i found out later. So I call it in and the manager seems like he doesnt understand what to do. Im already home im not going to want to go back out. I ended up hanging up with frustration. This place used to be better than the competition but now it maybe worse than the pizza hut here. With dominos winning out.

Order took an hour to get to me. No excuse for a store less than 4 miles from me. When it arrived, the dough was undercooked and they did not provide the correct dipping sauce for my breadsticks. So I’m guessing the long wait time wasn’t for the pizza to be in the oven.
This is the second order this month that took over an hour. This is the first time they’ve messed up the food, I think we’ll start to consider other pizza options in this area.
Edit: The area manager reached out and was very apologetic. He listened to my concerns sincerely and did what he could to make things right. I’m updating to 4 stars because honest customer service should be appreciated and the food quality tonight was the exception, not the norm for this location.

I live 2 miles from papa John’s. An hour later and the pizza still hasn’t arrived, and supposedly it left 50 minutes after I was notified it was on its way through text. This is the information I received when I called. Do yourself a favor and don’t order from this place.
