12-10-25** Probably the best tacos I’ve ever had… Definitely going back.

12/11/25** We Got more today and they tasted even better! Ordered for pick up. Everything is authentic and the tortillas are made in house. The best!!

The burger here is delicious! Anything Claudio makes will be good; he’ll make it how you want it. After reading other reviews, I can’t wait to try some of the other options, and the prices are fair too. Good food and good service, this place is a win-win to me.

The tacos tasted very authentic, rice was flavorful but a little hard, beans were delicious, and the tres leches cake was just okay. Overall, I recommend all but the cake.

This gas station’s got the fire fr ❤️‍ I’ve gotten everything from Tacos, to burgers, to french toast… I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten there. Ngl they’re pricey but I’m sorry to say you’re paying for quality. I can walk to this gas station and I plan to keep going back to try everything out

If I could give 0 stars I would . And that’s before I even tried the food. The customer service is the ABSOLUTELY WORST! I ordered a quesadilla over the phone 8:40am for pick up. I got to the place and waited til my food was ready , paid and left. Got to work ready to eat my quesadilla as my breakfast and opened the box and saw the quesadilla had tomato, onion, lettuce and sour cream INSIDE of the quesadilla. I called back telling them I just left from there and ordered a quesadilla but it was made wrong because of all the extra stuff inside. The man on the phone had an attitude from the beginning and sounded like he was brushing his teeth and the same time he was talking to me which is very unprofessional and unpleasant brushing teeth at work around food. He stated that they weren’t wrong and that I was wrong for not ordering my food right. This is my first time ordering from them and any other taqueria place I go to (because I eat taqueria A LOT) ALWAYS make a quesadilla with MEAT AND CHEESE ONLY and if someone I had allergies to tomatoes , onions, lettuce, or sour cream and ate that quesadilla then they would’ve been SUED! I told the man I just wanted meat and cheese and he kept saying they weren’t wrong and I am wrong . I told them ok whatever I will bring when I go to lunch around 1pm. At my job, I have to wait til my coworker gets back from lunch which caused me to have a later lunch today. I called when I clocked out at 1:54pm and immediately the man that works there told me they already made my food again at 1 and isn’t going to keep remaking food. The same way he is texting me from a personal number is the same way he could’ve text about when he was remaking my food or if I was even on the way to get the food he was about to remake so I know that was a lie about him already remaking my food at 1pm without talking to me first. While we’re on the phone he was yelling so I told him that he is a grown man yelling at a young lady and that I was on my way up there. When I got there I asked for the man that was on the phone and he lied and said that was the owner and he just left . When I told him “ok well he is very rude and his customer service sucks” he immediately got angry and started yelling again (sounding like the man on the phone) and telling me next time I need to order my food right and I told him there won’t be a next time.

So, I found this place on Door Dash, and decided to give it a try. I have found quite a few HIDDEN GEMS throughout the Dallas Shell Stations… I decided to eat here twice before leaving a review. The 1st time was great, but the 2nd time BLEW ME AWAY! Fresh GUACAMOLE that I can tell was made only minutes before I ate it. I ordered the PATTY MELT that was deliciously charred and seasoned! And a combination FAJITA PLATE that was enough for 2 meals! The prices are great and the salsas are tasty. Please check out the pics, then go grab some Charritos!

I’ve been eating here for 5 years and didn’t realize until today I’ve never given a review. The food is amazing. The staff is nice and the prices are good. Everything is good but I like the steak fajitas and burgers most of all. El Charrito has the best food in my opinion.

I mean it’s a gas station so not like you want to eat in there but they are tables if you choose to. The food is absolutely amazing.

This is my 1st time eating from this particular vendor at the Shell station as they’ve had a few food vendors over the years. I ordered the fish taco and I have to be honest this is the best fish taco I’ve had in years. It was cooked fresh not under a heat lamp to harden or dry out. Just simply grilled with seasonings and served with fresh diced onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cilantro with a lime wedge on the side. The green sauce is creamy with a slow heat hitting you in the back of your throat but it isn’t overbearing. I will definitely be back for more of their menu. I really love that it seems to be a family affair. I assume it’s mom, dad, older son at counter and kids in back.
