Mrs. Ellen purchased the snowball stand in 2001. She sold snowballs, malts, and ice cream cones at the 4-way stop next to the old feed store. She moved across the street & her little shop started to grow. More ice cream products, more snowball flavors, hot dogs, burgers, nachos, & frito pies were added to the menu. Because of the growth she was experiencing there too, she relocated again up the street but still on Lee Road & the menu has french fries, tenders, salads, poboys, catfish Fridays & so much more where she can offer dine in or drive-thru service. Mrs. Ellen loves the community she serves and we want to invite you to come on by and enjoy!

I work in this area and find everything in the area is way over priced for food that isn’t worth it, so I usually bring a lunch. I never knew Ellen’s Snowballs served food until recently. BEST SURPRISE EVER. Ellen’s Snowball’s is delicious. I have the Pulled Pork Poboys & Fries. INCREDIBLE FLAVOR. It’s homemade & locally smoked. I had mine dressed. I can’t wait to try other things, but I might be stuck on that pulled pork.
The atmosphere is incredibly friendly, incredibly inviting, and makes you look forward to the next visit though you haven’t even left the current visit.

This place is actually pretty cool. It was like taking a step into the past. Very family friendly, plenty of space, fast and friendly service. There are two little tables and chairs out in front, so you can enjoy your food or drink outside if you wanted. I would eat here again.

Every time my family and I visit here the service is always wonderful! We do not wait very long at all in the drive thru. I love their swirled ice cream in a waffle cone. Their snowballs are absolutely delicious! They have just about every flavor you could possibly want. They also serve other food as well. So if you’re wanting a refreshing treat please stop by! I promise you won’t regret it!

My husband and I used to live really close, and I’d go and grab a burger, and a pink lemonade snowball was my favorite. Always what I craved when pregnant! They have the best! They are so sweet! They can be busy and always apologetic for the wait, but they are fast, and it’s always worth the wait. I dont care how long, and i get why they’re busy because its good! I craved their burger the other day and went out of my way to get one. It was worth it. They have really good chicken strips and fries, too 🙂 !
