We were looking for a place in Brookville to have a late Sunday morning breakfast on the way home from vacation in Cook Forest. I called, but was told that they had already stopped serving breakfast. Not five minutes later, I got a call back from the restaurant. The friendly young woman on the phone had checked with the kitchen staff, and she said they were willing to serve our group breakfast. When we arrived, they couldn’t have been nicer! We were seated right away, our orders were taken quickly, and the food was very tasty with generous portions. My family and I highly recommend it!

Well when I think of my Grammas Kitchen I think old but clean. Well this Gramma wasnt very tidy at all. It’s definitely a mom and pops restaurant as the retro Long John Silvers booths with mixed chairs can plainly see. Stopped for lunch and sat at a table for 4 and was confronted about my seating choice immediately…. Not a minute goes by and Im asked 3 times if Im ready to order. So I rush my decision asking 1 question, How do you do your Onion Rings. I must have really threw a curse ball… Answer ,We do like everyone we cook them in oil…. Me. Know are they fresh, frozen, battered etc. Im sorry I couldn’t win, My sandwich a steak, with cheese ,onion and green peppers on a keilbasa bun for 6.99 and a side of frozen crinkle cut fries. My plan was to try the pie and other items but as I was told when I walked in, they have a rush around 12. 1 other person came in and was a regular as the waitress spend time chatting with her. Would I go back likely will that waitress remember me I hope so , as her rudeness got her a huge $0 tip. Maybe next time be nice to all customers not just regulars.

The food was good, and the service was fast for as busy as it was. Prices are good. The only problem I had was that the booths seemed small and every table was taken.

Although the decor could use some freshening up, the prices and portions left little to improve upon. We had stuffed chicken breast.
Our waitress, Libby, was efficient and friendly.

A group of 8 of us were visiting for G-hog day and i was able to call and reserve a table for all of us! We were promptly seated and greeted by the sweetest gal, Emily! She was full of energy and spunk! She took our drink orders and had small talk with us throughout our meal. Our waitress Tiffany was exceptional! Always making sure we had what we needed… especially when we asked to meet Grandma herself so we could personally tell her how much we loved our meals! The atmosphere is very vintage and welcoming. The food is amazing and at an unbeatable price! 1,000% recommend on your next trip through town!

Good food. Big ice cream. Reasonable prices. They have some canned and baked goods. Even some seasonal handmade decor. Really nice employees too. An awesome business to support!

This is the worst dining experience I ever had. The waitress was rude. First I told her twice I want unsweetened tea and the tea brought to me was sweet. Then I got burned onion rings. I found a few rotten lettuce in my salad. The roast beef sandwich with gravy also tastes bad . It was hard to eat any of these. She came by, rude, questioning us“anything wrong?”. In the end she charged us the drink and onion rings with no apology. Bad food + bad service. Negative starts!
