It was my mom’s and love us some ono fajitas. And boy, Coco Cantina killed it. Also, it being my mom’s birthday we asked for the flan and Audrey who is an amazing waitress asked if we wanted a candle and Audrey had a lighter which she kept in her purse just for these occasions! Perfect! Thank you for the amazing meal and experience! Muy bueno!

Pretty awesome food. I very much enjoyed everything from the flautas to enchiladas to the horchata. Anyone who likes Mexican food needs to find time to eat here.

Food was good but served a bit cold. I’m giving grace to the solo server working the room.

You absolutely have to try the Mexican Burger . Also, the ribs fall off the bone and are super meaty. The staff is really nice and talkative. It’s always kinda chill here. I come here often because of happy hour! Football friendly.

The bartenders are the best…Alyx and Joseph are my favorites. Wait staff on point too. Def go here !!!

Waitress charged my card on someone else’s tab! Food is not worth the value at all! Queso is actually just cheap canned nacho cheese the stuff you can get at the gas station or Taco Bell for .99 cent and they are charging $15 dollars for this cheap cheese and passing it off as fresh queso! The shrimp taco were chopped shrimp as in not a whole shrimp in site! Meal isn’t satiating at all because the servings of everything are really scarce! Do not recommend!

III years ago, I moved from Cali to Hilo & it was da best decision of my “La Vita Loca”, but I gotta’ admit I do miss the “Caliente Cuisine”…

I’m not jus’ talkin’ about “Miami Heat”… I’m talkin’ about seducing, sizzling, savory favors…

Imagine my surprise when I casually & curiously “two-stepped” into Da Coco Cantina & found myself in “Margaritaville” …

Let’s begin with the open-space ambiance where the “waiting area” tempts you into da cocktail lounge hosted by a seasoned “Barista”… & I’m not talkin’ about a “frappuccino”… these are real blended, shaken, & stirred drinks!

If you have any, “Faith in La Vita”, then have faith in Da Coco Cantina Crew (DCCC)… they will guide your platte into an “Endless Summer”…

My Faith took me towards a Jalapeño Margarita, a splash of Hawaiian Ono, accompanied with tres amigos soft-taco carnitas… all the flavors well balanced, the carnitas juicy and tender, and healthy hearty portions…

Walking out, I saw a sign “off the wall”, I did a “double-take”… #Espresso_Martini ? Now that’s got me curious about their desserts…

Oh, Coco Cantina… you’ve got a way to entice da locals to get a little Coco loco…

The food was great (really tasty carnitas), but we were pretty disappointed by the service.

We dined in, but ordered two menu items for takeaway. We ordered these takeaway items around 7:10 / 7:15 PM, paid the bill at 8:00 and asked after the takeaway items, but were told there had been a mishap, so they’d whip something up fast.

Over the next 30 minutes we inquired several times but kept being told “they’d prioritize our order next”. We finally received the items at 8:30 PM, so it took over an hour for us to receive a quesadilla and queso we’d requested early for takeaway.

We completely understand things get busy, but were pretty frustrated that our order kept getting forgotten and continuous “mishaps” meant other takeaway orders were going out while ours was left until last.

It would have been appreciated to receive any sort of discount for the extended wait-time well after we’d ordered, finished, and paid.

We popped into this cantina on our way to the downtown post office and the best thing about it was the service. Alex at the bar was awesome and makes a mean margarita. Nice open space, bigger than it looks from the outside. Nice happy hour menu. We ordered the carne asada fries and the ceviche and both were okay. We will go back to check out more of the menu.
