Went on a Friday around 6:30PM, not super busy. It was a peaceful dinner with my brother. Beautifully decorated, the food is delicious, love the presentation. It is quite expensive (meal with tip) about $90. They charge $36.99 for Friday as a “weekend price”, be aware.
Service was a bit slow even though there were very few people. Sometimes we would wait a while before our next order slip would be picked up; some items would be missed, waited probably 10+ mins for the bill (everything cleared, just waiting). I would come back again as the quality is very nice. I would only recommend improving on server attentiveness.

I have been hearing about this place of business on Facebook. I was hearing good things about it so I decided to go on Valentine’s Day and I was so pleased the sushi was the very good the greeter when I arrived wasn’t the best of spirits but another co worker made up for it with a rose to accommodate the experience. If you want good sushi this is the place and the atmosphere is set just right! Thank you for your service!

It was our first time today at this No.1 Sushi. We decided to get the All You Can Eat, so we get to try a bit of different varieties. Food was so good. Sashimi was so fresh. Server was so attentive. Definitely will be back.

This place has been on my radar to try for a while and we finally decided to check it out. First off, the sushi here is incredible. Super fresh and colorful with amazing presentations. We tried the all-you-can-eat deal and some options off the regular menu too. For AYCE sushi, this was the best I’ve had in the area. AYCE isn’t limited to sushi and there’s a bunch of dishes you can try as well. For us, service was great. We went on a slow day for lunch and the entire experience was fantastic. I see there’s some negative reviews about service, but that wasn’t the case for us.
Here’s what we had:
Crispy Calamari: 5/5
Hot, perfectly crispy, flavorful, large portion. Would definitely order again.
Crab Rangoon: 4/5
Creamy and indulgent with the perfect crunch. For my taste, they were a bit on the sweet side but I’m sure others would love that.
Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura: 5/5
Light, crispy batter with fresh ingredients. Cool presentation.
Tuna Tartare Tower: 10/5 (yes, it’s that good)
This was hands-down the highlight of the night. Layers of fresh tuna, creamy avocado, and three types of tobiko. It’s a visual masterpiece and a flavor bomb in every bite.
Godzilla Roll, Norwegian Salmon Sashimi, & Yellowtail Jalapeño Sashimi: 5/5
Fresh, vibrant, spicy, and expertly prepared. The yellowtail had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño, and the Godzilla Roll is simply addictive. The wild-caught salmon from Norway exceeded expectations.
Sweetheart Roll: 5/5
Yes, it’s a tuna avocado roll shaped like hearts. Perfect for sharing especially if you’re here for a date night.
Hibachi Combo (Maine Lobster Tail, Shrimp, and Scallops): 5/5
Huge Maine lobster tail. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Worth the price!
Banana & Oreo Tempura: 5/5
I enjoyed fried Oreos more than I thought I would!

Try the all-you-can-eat menu. It’s one of the best deals around for the quality of the sashimi, specialty rolls, and kitchen dishes that you can get.
Update: We’ve gone back a few times and it’s still fantastic. Basically addicted to the Godzilla Roll. We also started picking up sushi for takeout and it’s THE BEST around. We get the lunch specials and they’re much bigger portions than what you get some of the other local sushi places for the same price. Plus you get soup or salad too.

I’ve dined here three times now, twice for all-you-can-eat and once from the regular menu. The AYCE is definitely worth it if you like trying a variety of rolls and dishes, but the regular menu has some excellent options too. We also tried takeout based on other reviewers’ recommendations and I can confirm it is the best in the area for sushi lunch specials. The portions are huge. This is our only sushi spot locally now.

The food was amazing. it literally had me dancing in my seat, and the hot sake was very good. And not to mention, I absolutely appreciate the waitress who noticed that I was struggling to read the menu due to my vision and handed me a paper menu that made it so much easier to see the smaller print so I can see what’s in a roll. The staff are very nice , the restaurant is very clean. Definitely will be returning.

We had an incredible meal at No. 1 Sushi! We ordered the AYCE (All You Can Eat) sushi option, and everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
Just look at this stunning platter we received:
The salmon sashimi was buttery and flavorful, the nigiri (especially the tuna and whitefish) was top quality, and the rolls were packed with fresh ingredients. The eel (unagi) was rich and glazed perfectly, and even the little cucumber-wrapped pieces topped with black tobiko were amazing. Every bite tasted like it had been made with care. We also enjoyed some extras like fried rice and a plate of marinated salmon in soy sauce—everything was just spot on.
The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. For an AYCE sushi spot, No. 1 Sushi truly stands out for quality and presentation. We’ll definitely be back!
