I ordered Mandarin chicken last night and when I got home the chicken was hard as a brick and I got sick trying to eat it. It was also dry. I wish I could have took pictures

I don’t care for Chinese food but that’s precisely what my family fancied after church today. The food was fresh and tasty (I have zero complaints in that department)! However, our waitress had a terrible attitude. At one point I said to another member of my party “she definitely isn’t concerned with losing her job” and they replied “yeah, because she owns the place!”. A couple of us got our orders first and someone else merely inquired if theirs was nearly ready and she snapped at my friend saying, “your food was coming!” How tacky and especially on Easter Sunday! I would rather go someplace the food isn’t amazing but the service is outstanding versus what we experienced today. So folks, enter @ your own risk!!!

The food is great, the service is adaquate but twice my husband and I went and was loud capped by a lady that I’m assuming is the owner. My husband had a lung transplant in February and the first time we went we were trying to sit away from people and were told we couldn’t sit on the end of a big table. This was done loudly across the restaurant full of people.
Today he wanted to surprise me and take me there and when we went in there was 2 small tables and one large ones empty and she yelled to us “no more table! No more tables!” There we stood seeing the empty ones and the whole restaurant looking at us.
We turned and left And decided then that we are never going back.

from the minute I walked in, the woman behind the counter was incredibly rude to Me,
no reason.

it was very weird.

I just Think If your going to open up a business in small-town Louisiana, where folks are quiet and polite, you should prolly Learn some common courtesies and speech patterns of Our culture …

Like,
We are Not wound up,
ever.
We Never Talk Fast,
and If we Dont KNOW you, and we are Sincerely Asking you a Question, there should be No Reason that you should mistakenly read insincerity into our Question, Especially if its About FOOD, Because we take that Very seriously.
& We are certainly Not Use to being Yelled At for no reason …

& understand If we are asking you a Question, it is out of Respect for your business, so we Better understand what comes “with comes with what” on the menu, it is Not a “complaint” …
– and shouldn’t be Taken that way …

and there are No Negative connotations implied when someone is asking you a question about your menu, so you shouldn’t take it that way …

-even if they are middle-aged and White with a Giant Beard. we have come to your business because we already Respect you, And we Love your culture, and we downright already LOVE your Food, and we just want to know what sort of vegetables Do Come on each dish, because we LOVE your vegetables! and we LOVE your sauce, (NOT because we are complaining-or we dont want them)
We Do Not speak in “Complaints” Initially if we Dont already Know you, again this is NOT New York, or New Jersey or Texas …

& Being Food connoisseurs, we naturally just want to know what comes on what, per dish. In Louisiana, it is OUR way of getting to know the menu and familiarizing ourselves with the atmosphere … just like we ask you, “How ya Dooin?” (witha smile),
-Its because we Genuinely WANT to connect with you, and Know that everything is OK in your world BEFORE we place an order with you, it IS NOT to “Prompt” you, or encourage you to “go faster” … so you are misreading that…

& you Really Need to Remove that Whole Giant Post-Covid-Plexiglass that surrounds your counter because we Can’t. Hear. You.
and in 2025 it comes off that you Hate us, and that we are all Dirty and have Diseases.

Covids over,
& with that Giant Thing Up, we Can’t understand what your saying…
its just a matter of respect.

And for you to Try to Yell over the Top of it just makes you Look angry & crazy, and definitely takes away from the Zen of the environment … and we are supersticious in our culture, and Do Not want that Anger to get into our food … (that is Also part of our cultural Belief)

in Louisiana, we respect peace when we eat.
we expect harmony, good nature, music, and laughter…
This is Not New York, it is hard for us to decipher what is being communicated to us when there is a lot of yelling and the person talking to you is also talking to other people or taking calls.

in our culture, that is considered very rude.

In Louisiana, we give you our undivided attention when you are speaking to us, and we expect the same when we are speaking to you in return … otherwise, that is also considered disrespect.

common courtesy, sincerity and respect, in Our culture, must be established BEFORE we place an order, & allow someone to cook for us…

so If you Fail to establish Trust with us initially(meet & greet) through our style of communication, we will Not Trust the person Or the business to whom we are speaking with,

and inadvertently, we WILL-NOT Eat the food.

Very good chinese food. The options in Poplarville are horrible and this one is leaps and bounds better, worth the 20 mile drive ( each way ) if you got that itch for chinese.
