They never see the order placed via their own app. I feel like when I come in there that they don’t give care that I’m there. They wish I didn’t order anything and that they hate their life and also their job. The food is very subpar. I think they might’ve been high while they were making it this place is terrible. I will never eat here again and I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually get a health code violation because I doubt anybody gives a crap about how the food is stored or how anything is done there. That was my overall experience and it sucks cause I usually love Papa John’s, but this place is terrible.

Everything was great! I did a large pizza order and the inside staff was super helpful! We’ve ordered here a lot since we moved up here and everytime has been wonderful. The night shift staff tonight was phenomenal!

I love the food but today June 3 2025 I ordered my pizza and cheese sticks. it was an hour late and they had a sweet elderly man delivering pizza on a hot day. I’m not blaming it on the elderly man this is on papa johns. I understand the elderly man needs to work to make ends meet have him working on cleaning inside the pizza shop ware it’s cooler for him. have the younger workers out driving delivering pizza. that elderly man looked like he was going to have a stroke or heart attack.

I give the 2 stars for the reason, that i am used to pizza from a pizza oven, ( brick or pizza stone , baking stone )which I have not found here in New Tazewell or Tazewell. It’s the might best you’ll get in this area. My opinion. I still take it home and put my oven. Crust it up.

Placed an order this previous Thursday, the 17th of April at around 8:30 or so. The email said it would only take 41 minutes for the pizza to be delivered. Waited until nearly 9:45 before I even called to check on the pizza because I understand things happen. I was understanding and kind on the phone call and was still met with shortness and rudeness from the man who answered, then after being told that our delivery driver left with a lot of orders about ten minutes prior I was hung up on in the middle of my sentence. When I did finally receive my pizza at 10:30, it was cold. I sent in multiple complaints to upper management and have received absolutely no feedback from them, even after waiting almost a whole week. So, I’m taking to the streets kids. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience for calling, be hung up on, and pay $25 dollars AFTER A TIP for a cold pizza that you don’t even want to eat anymore, then go ahead and order from the Tazewell Tennessee Papa John’s. If you don’t want that you’d probably be better off buying a pizza from a guy behind a dumpster, or making your own at home. Save your money folks.

Last time I ordered from this place was at least 3 years ago and wasn’t happy then for pizza being not cooked and soggy, today I decided I wanted some pizza, something different so I gave this papa John’s another try, pre placed the order in advance so they had 1.5 hours,get there and pick my order up,sat in parking lot to eat and it was cold and yes again it was not cooked fully and soggy, and these boneless wings like rubber,these ain’t even wings,but a fake piece of chicken or something..a total $20 waste of money,

Hour an a half late. Not including the 30 mins you’re given for cooking it and delivering. Finally received the wings I waited so long on and the lack of sauce is astounding. Called the store and all they had to say was “the driver is 70 there’s nothing I can do for you”
