From the Livonia location. I ordered a 3 tender plate, a 5 tender plate and an original snack tender. My tenders were dried out and tough. The toast was burned, the fries were cold, the coleslaw was dry and my sandwich was drenched in sauce. I called to report the order to the manager to find out that HE DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH. My first issue is how do you have a manager on duty that can’t speak to the public when there’s a situation. Mohamed (an employee that took my concern placed me on a long hold to speak with store manager ) argued with me about the food being fresh to order and couldn’t have been burned or distasteful because THEY PROVIDE FOOD FRESH TO ORDER. Mohamed explained that there is no way i could’ve he that experience as if im not the person consuming the meal. The service i experienced was horrible. My server was Gianna G. I am highly upset and I advise you to keep driving if you’re thinking about stopping here for food. Unprofessional and they don’t take accountability. The food here is too expensive to not be satisfied with your meal. I have never been told I was lying about food until today. No apologies. No credit for my meals. Nothing but a Siri we can’t help you because that can’t be true. What a Slap in the face.
To the owner. Your apology is not enough. I sat on the phone while Mohamed spoke to you and you told him that the service couldn’t have been as I explained.
I spent $35 and you all didn’t offer any compensation. You just respond to everyone’s message with a facade of sincere apologies. What we really would like to receive is DECENT food or compensation.
I ordered:
• A chicken sandwich with coleslaw
• Chicken dunks
• Fries
• A watermelon cooler
• An extra coleslaw
The biggest issue was that multiple items were not the same as what Big Chicken originally served.
First, the coleslaw has completely changed. When I first had it, it was flavorful and spicy with jalapeños. Now it’s just plain, overly creamy, and bland with no taste at all. I even paid for an extra coleslaw, expecting the original flavor, and it was nothing like it used to be.
Second, the chicken dunks were not chicken dunks. I’ve ordered them many times before, and what I received today were chicken tenders cut up into pieces — you could literally see where they were chopped. That is not what I ordered. When I asked about it, I was told that’s how they’re doing it now, but if that’s the case, it should be labeled as such. Calling it “chicken dunks” is misleading.
I especially didn’t appreciate having to give this to my child, who immediately noticed it didn’t look or taste the same and questioned why it was different.
When a restaurant opens and builds a following, things should stay consistent. Changing recipes and menu items without being clear to customers is disappointing. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match expectations this time.
Coming from a restaurant background, I was shocked by the lack of quality control. The grilled chicken tasted old and plain, the bacon was undercooked, and the onions were raw rather than caramelized, making the sandwich a messy, dripping disaster. The avocado was also diced rather than sliced, causing everything to fall apart. I had to give up on the meal halfway through. Even the onion rings were inedibly thick and undercooked.
The only thing that tasted right was the Big Shot, though I ended up with a stomach ache for the rest of the day. My first visit here was great, but this experience was unacceptable
I went for “The Original Chicken” sandwich which is crispy chicken, BC Sauce and pickles. The chicken itself was good, but honestly, most of the BC sauce ended up dripping out because of how it was wrapped. A bit of a bummer since I wanted all that flavor! On the bright side, the fries were perfectly crispy and salty!
Overall, it was a solid choice for a fast-casual chicken sandwich. I’d definitely try it again.
Pros: food was fresh, cooked to order and served hot. Wings are delicious and mac and cheese is good compared to other fast food places. Tenders are a great size and friends perfectly. The service was great, the manager is up front making sure orders are timely. The restaurant is very clean.
Cons: Wish the wings had even more sauce but it’s nice when you can get extra sauce on the side. I would like their fries with cheese but I didn’t love the dirty fries.
Overall we were satisfied and will be back to try more items on the menu. It was a little pricey it cost us about $20 per person.
