My wife, mother-in-law and I were in the area visiting family and decided to stop at the Rock Cafe for breakfast. We were seated right away, and the server was quick to get our order. While the servers were not particularly friendly, they were attentive and did a good job. This little cafe has been in business for many years and seems to have a loyal customer base. Our overall experience was good, but not great. The atmosphere is down-home, which I like, but they need to do some updating to give the place a fresh feel, especially the bathrooms. I liked that they offer the option of a long “social table,” or booth seating. The food was good, and cooked exactly the way we wanted. The portions were about what we expected. We’ll probably be back the next time we’re in town.

Food was amazing. Difficult to get good biscuits and gravy but they were great as was the whole breakfast. Waitresses were great and the cooks were very nice too as they were setting up the buffet for lunch which looked amazing as well. A must visit when in Waldron

Not be coming back to this location based on the quality and price of the food. Super let down because it was a cute atmosphere.

Had to stop in while I was in town for work and glad I did. Buffet seems a little much for such a small town without much foot traffic, but I got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was up there as one of the best burgers to my memory. Place isn’t fancy, it’s very down home and comfortable. Staff was friendly. I recommend stopping by

We travel the back roads and love to find Mom and Pop restaurants. This place was cute and cozy. They had a long family style table and booths. We had a cheeseburger and Salad. The food was good and the the waitress Karis was very nice and helpful. She even took the time to explain the restaurant history and the town history for us. Would definetly recommend stopping in.

Only time worth going lately is when they have the breakfast buffet. I got there Biscuits & Gravy with an omelette. Gravy lacked flavor and the biscuits were a let down, not to sound harsh but it was way too dry and the omelette was alright. If they seasoned the food better and changed how they did their biscuits I’d give a better review. Service however was good!

Very friendly, always on the move staff with terrific cafe food. Solid burgers with really good fries. The onion rings are fresh and when I asked for Ranch to dip in – the waitress hit the salad bar for me 😉 Sweet tea with offers of a go-cup when we left.
We were there on a Sunday morning and it was a continuous flow of small town family and friends filling and re-filling the huge table in the middle: classic small town with the interesting side conversations created a really warm atmosphere. The place itself exudes OLD, been-there-done-that small town.
This was a stop while driving through, and not our 1st choice based on the internet. We came to The Rock because the other place as jammed. We will be back because it was SO pleasant and a great value.

Stopped in after a motorcycle ride…promptly seated and presented with a menu and offer of drink choices.
Cheeseburger and onion rings piping out…made to order; drink refills offered numerous times.
Yep…definitely a return in the near future!
