The Valmy Happy Hour was a small bar and grill. The food was great. The cheese curds ($8.5) were awesome as well as the steak sandwich ($11.95) and the cod sandwich ($6.75). The prices were great especially for a touristy area in Door County.

Wonderful “found” spot. Returning from Door County and came across this gem. Excellent broasted chicken special served with mashed potatoes and stuffing. Very busy, one waitress – she was great! Highly recommend.

Wow this place was cheap and food was great! Glad we found it for the first time especially after coming up here every year. We were a group of 13 on a Friday afternoon in October and it was empty.

Visiting and needed a quick bite to eat on the way back to the campground. Came across this gem, so needed to give it a try. We had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries and their special of a half broasted chicken. Highly recommend either. Grilled chicken was extremely juicy and on a potato toasted bun. Fries were like brew fries, which are some od my favorites. Also had an appetizer of onion rings, which was very decent sized and reasonably priced. Highly recommend if close by.

Nothing fancy about this place, but if you are looking for cheap, delicious bar food with friendly service, then this is your place. You cannot beat these prices. I had the 1/4 burger with fries $6.50. My husband had the fish sandwich special. Both were delicious and our bartender was so friendly. Great place to stop.

Stopped in for supper. We ordered the boasted chicken and pork chops. Both dinners came with mashed potatoes and dressing. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The chops were nicely seasoned and delicious. Very reasonable prices. Their old fashioned are great too.
