We had such a great experience at Rosa’s Mexican in Big Bear! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was truly amazing. The staff was so welcoming, attentive, and kind — it really made a difference in our visit.
The restaurant was very clean and had such an enjoyable, comfortable environment. That was something I really appreciated.
The food was also excellent! The burrito we ordered was huge — definitely big enough for my kids to share. They also offer free tortillas and sauce, which was a nice bonus. The taco salad was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and so many of the other plates we saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. I would definitely go back to try more dishes!
Overall, what stood out the most to me was the combination of amazing customer service and a clean, welcoming space. It was such a great find, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Brand new restaurant at the village in big bear! Super clean and nicely decorated interior. The service was great and they offer free chips and salsa with 2 different salsa which is awesome!! Green salsa is . We ordered the molcajete for 2 which was delicious as well as the signature margaritas yum! Everything was good and we will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

Our server was Mira, she was attentive & so friendly. For only being open around a week I was so pleasantly surprised to see how smoothly things were going. As busy as the village was, we were seated right away. Our food came quickly and was very tasty. Rosa’s is a great addition to dining in Big Bear. I’ll be returning to try something different!

We had such a great experience at this new restaurant in The Village at Big Bear Lake!
We started by splitting the tortilla soup and it was absolutely delicious — so much flavor and the perfect way to start the meal. I ordered a Cadillac margarita (highly recommend!) and my husband had the mojito, which he loved.
For our main dish, we shared the molcajete and it was more than enough food for both of us, especially after the soup. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The service was excellent. Vlad and the rest of the team were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our table was always kept neat and cleared promptly, which we really appreciated.
Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in The Village!

Best food in big bear. Hip Ensenada vibes, friendly attentive service, outrageously delicious highly quality fresh food. Must stop. The most high quality Ensenada restaurant we’ve had outside of Ensenada. Jalapeño mezcal margarita was perfect. Perfect apres ski approval from a Colorado kid.

Great food, friendly service and food potion sizes. Our family of four (two adults and two young kids) had plenty of food with two enteees and a soup – total bill just under $100. Was expecting to pay much more in a resort town! All the dishes were good – we had the steak fajitas, fish tacos, guacamole, soup and churros. Would go back again!

Great place with tons of great mexican options and homemade touch. Vladimir was our server both times we came and he was wonderful. We sat outside once and inside and both were great. Stop by and check it out

I’ve been looking forward to Rosa’s opening! I went there for lunch today with a couple of friends, and I had the Ensenada fish tacos, which were delicious. We all enjoyed our meal, and the service was above and beyond, just like at the other restaurant, Azteca Grill, owned by this hard-working, local family. I look forward to Rosa’s great success and to enjoying many more meals at this lovely restaurant.

It’s what Big Bear needs to elevate the food scene. Best Mexican restaurant in town. It’s my new destination every time I come up to Big Bear.
