First time here having lunch with my daughter. Selections are unique with flavors like Brie, apple, and prosciutto, topped with hot honey on crispy sourdough (my daughter’s pic). I opted for hot (real roasted) turkey with melted cheese and bits of bacon and garlic mayo. I asked for a side of their delicious cranberry relish which I slathered on my sandwich. It was delicious! We spilt a side of pineapple slaw with its refreshing flavor. We just loved the menu and can’t wait to get back and try another flavor combo. The service was very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant itself has a counter at which to sit and a few tables, but is rather small. All over, we had a really good, averaged priced meal with great service. Will be back.

This is a quaint little place on Mill Creek Rd across from Acme. The food is absolutely the best I’ve had in a long time. I had The Twilight and all I can say is kudos to the chef.

I had the “Golden Hour” sandwich (brie, bacon, fig, jam, on grilled sourdough). The women behind the counter were super friendly- made recommendations and service was quick. The interior was decorated smartly: warm and inviting. Hands-down, the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Will be my new favorite lunch spot!

Definitely my new lunch staple off the island. I got the blt wrap with chicken. The way they grilled the wrap was excellent and it was perfectly dressed. So glad I stopped here. Get the homemade root beer – you won’t regret it.

Stopped in because of the Google reviews and pictures of good food, and walking in was pleasantly surprising. A very relaxed and warm vibe, and the owner, Steve Sweeney, had a big welcoming smile. They have a very wide and eclectic food for a breakfast and lunch spot. A lot of layered ingredients, things you just don’t see at other eateries. I kept it basic, a Turkey melt with brie, bacon, garlic mayo on perfectly grilled sourdough. Also, had the locally made root beer. A perfect lunch. Mixed with a window full of orchids, plants everywhere, and Black Uhuru on the radio. One of the best lunch spots I’ve been to in a long while. This place should be packed every day. Can’t wait to be back in the area.

You ever hear about a place and say to yourself… I really have to go there? Well that happened to me today. I was leaving the Acme in Manahawkin and, as I was leaving the parking lot, I saw Bright Side across Mill Creek Road and said… There it is! I went in for a bite to eat and, without question, I could not have been happier I did. The offerings are varied and I was told the menu will change seasonally. I started with a homemade root beer that was excellent! Would make a decadent root beer float! I then had one of their “Bites”… the Figget about it Flatbread – Fig jam, prosciutto and burrata… crazy good. Lastly, I had The Sunset… hot roast beef, caramelized onions on really good sourdough bread… just delicious. I really look forward to going back and won’t hesitate to go to the Acme again when asked to go… so I can wander across the road again! Definitely give this small place a try!

Delicious lunch with fabulous menu. Unique combination of ingredients for salads and sandwiches.. we had the sandwich with roast beef, muenster, honey crisp apple, arugula and horseradish sauce YUM! Absolutely one of the best lunches we have had in LBI and Manahawkin. A REAL surprise, the menu looked very interesting. We loved the interaction of ingredients. I called we were on our way to my sisters house. They prepared a great feast for us, asked us how many we were. I was told 30 minutes it was ready when we arrived. Took it to the house and everyone raved how good everything was. The pineapple coleslaw was amazing.
