Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant and counter area with food were very clean. I had a bowl with the honey chicken, yellow rice, pinto beans, corn salsa, shredded cheese, and guacamole. The honey chicken was very tender and flavorful, so good!! My husband had a bowl in the fried tortilla, which was fresh and crunchy. He ordered the honey and shredded chicken. Both were excellent. He loaded his bowl with more than I can list. It was an enjoyable lunch. For 2 bowls and 2 bottles of water $35. Out of all these chains, this was the best for us by far.

Second time trying Adobo. The place is clean. The owners are nice. The first time my daughter ordered tacos and she LOVED them! She also ordered chips and queso but they forgot the queso. Tonight she asked for nachos and requested the sauce on the side. unfortunately when we got home the sauce was on the nachos, a lot of it and a bit too spicy for me. 🙁 The nachos were soggy too but we will definitely give them a try again.

As I prepare for my move to Pennsylvania, I’ve made several trips back and forth, and despite having numerous dining options along the way—from the Poconos to the boroughs of New York City—I always find myself waiting to enjoy a meal at Adobo Mexican Grill. I assure you, I have no personal ties to the staff or ownership; however, every visit feels like a warm reunion with family.
For anyone looking for exceptional Tex-Mex dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend Adobo Mexican Grill. And if you happen to visit, please let the staff named “Love” & “Money” know that Paul sent you, and maybe suggest they consider opening a location closer to him in Pennsylvania!

I had to come back to Adobo two days in a row — that’s how amazing the food is. Hands down, the best tacos I’ve ever had. Every bite is packed with flavor, and even the taco shell on its own tastes so good, I could eat it empty and still be happy!
The guacamole? Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned easily the best I’ve had anywhere. And don’t even get me started on the honey chipotle chicken… it’s out of this world. Sweet, smoky, tender absolutely unforgettable.
To top it all off, they’re open until 3:00 AM, which makes this place a lifesaver for late-night cravings. If you haven’t tried Adobo yet, you’re seriously missing out!

They have the best food , it’s soooooo good! The employees are all family and are always very nice and accommodating. The two sons are very kind. There’s vegan, vegetarian, and halal options here. The cauliflower, tofu, habanero, and mango salsa is so tasty.

Sorry it took so long, been coming here since they opened and it has consistently blown away anything like it in the area since. Best birria tacos I’ve had hands down (the chicken ones) best deals on Uber eats I’ve ever seen. Used to do big orders for my coworkers all the time the quality can’t be beat by any Cabo or Chipotle in the area. My guy behind the counter always got the best energy too when I come in, never skimps on ingredients always fresh, can’t praise it enough.

Amazing new halal Mexican bowl spot in Selden. It’s super clean and has good amount of seating space inside. They have a wide assortment of options for toppings as well as some savory and sweet sides and desserts. I ordered the honey chicken bowl with rice, beans, and other toppings. It was super filling and delicious! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to drop by again and try something else.

I’ve ordered from this place multiple times and the last couple of orders the food has been absolutely disgusting. My last order was the burrito bowl and nothing tasted fresh, the chicken tasted cold and like it had freezer burn but was cooked anyways. Not even 4 bites in and I wanted to vomit! When they first opened the food was great but this place has truly gone down hill!

I’ve been waiting for this place to open, since I first saw the signs going up in the windows. Today was the day we finally got to try them out. The smell of the food and the happy atmosphere when you first walk in already put a smile on my face. We were greeted by the friendliest gentlemen behind the counter and they helped us place our first official order. Their Mom came out from the Kitchen to say Hello and her smile lit up the room. It is truly a pleasure to enter a restaurant with happy, pleasant people behind the counters. The portions were perfectly sized and everything we ordered was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. (We had the Steak Birria Tacos, Steak Burrito Bowl and Queso Blanco). This place beats Chipotle, hands down! The food was perfectly seasoned and made our bellies VERY happy. We will definitely be going back and will let everyone know where to go for some AWESOME food. I wish them all the best and much success!

This place is looks clean, but they are NOT. The problem for me isn’t with the taste of the food. The food was GREAT which is why this issue is upsetting for me. I noticed while picking up my online order not everyone handling food was wearing gloves. While eating my burrito, I felt something hard and chewy that didn’t feel like food. It was a fingernail clipping!! I wanted to throw up, and couldn’t finish the burrito that did taste good. This place clearly isn’t that clean, and I don’t recommend.
