Authentic Mexican food made from scratch, this restaurant has a warm and inviting decor. Our server recommended the empanadas and chile rellenos, which were both incredibly delicious. We also tried the carne, al pastor, lengua, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada was our favorite taco. We also tried a shredded chicken tamale, which was flavorful, and the chips and guacamole. I highly recommend this lovely family-run business. It’s definitely the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in Maryland.

Delicious, authentic food!! 100% thee best authentic Al pastor street tacos around! The tres leches cake is a must try too. My boyfriend and I LOVE La Jarochita! The prices are great, the food is amazing, and the service is wonderful! They have the BEST chips – warm, perfectly crispy, and just the right amount of salt. Their guacamole has the best flavor and ingredients. The street tacos are awesome – I get al pastor and asada. $2.50 for a street taco – great deal!! You NEED to try the green sauce. My food is always ready quickly when I order online or call in and they are the friendliest people to talk to.

Amazing, authentic food! The owners/staff are welcoming and so friendly. My son loved the tacos and mango juice. The tacos are authentic street tacos size and flavor. The empanadas are top notch. Everything was fresh and delicious. I’ve been all over the country and to Mexico, and this is definitely the best I’ve had in Maryland! The horchata is made to order and amazing! We will definitely become regulars!

Having grown up in Carroll County and spent time in Mexico, I can tell you this is an authentic Mexican restaurant like I’ve never seen before in my home county! Great service, a neat mix of patrons speaking English and Spanish, and food “que rico!” – really good! I recommend try a mix and match variety of the tacos. And I think I’ll be back soon for the “mole” (moh-lay) – which I hear is homemade: a traditional Mexican sauce made with cocoa beans but spices instead of sugar – so amazing. Comfortable seating and very reasonable prices. Come get some real Mexican food, you Marylanders!
