My first Steak ‘n Shake. Been dreaming abt this since middle school. The garlic burger was a little weird. Just meat, garlic, and mustard. The milkshake and bacon burger is top tier. 10/10. They take bitcoin lol.

Drive through for fries and a coke .
These were not the regular skinny Steak and shake fries and they were soggy greasy and way too salty.
They also have a funny taste like they were fried in vegetable oil.
The cashier was wonderful lady.
I’ve never been to west plains but wouldn’t eat at this location again. I come for tallow skinny crispy fries. Lebanon location and those in Springfield are always good. Not t sure what’s up in West Plains

I’d been out showing property ALL day and was starving! I hadn’t been here in probably a year since I’d heard it wasn’t that good now. Well either I was SO hungry or they have vastly improved! It was really good! Flavors were really good, I do wish the fries were bigger. I think I had #7. Went through drive thru. I don’t usually eat at too many fast food places but when I do…I’ll come back!

Honestly the staff was friendly, and the service was fairly quick, too. Some of our order was missing, but it was dealt with quickly.
I suppose the price was decent for the quantity and quality of the food received.
Location wasn’t the cleanest, but it was busy and I did see staff trying to clean in between customers.
If eating with a partner, I recommend one of you grab a seat while the other orders. This is to make sure you not only get a seat, but also a clean one.
I simply can’t justify more than 3 stars when the food was just ok. I’m not saying we wouldn’t try it again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to.

The manager guy here was great. Great burgers and good shakes. Fries are bland unless you put the seasoning on them, which really tastes like chicken ramen. Cool looking building.

Went thru drive thru/ ordered a couple of shakes. They stopped us and asked if our 2 dogs could have pup cups. I didn’t know they offered them!!! What a pleasant surprise. The employees went above & beyond!! And my 2 puppies were thrilled their cups that featured cream, peanut butter topping and bacon!!!! Oh yea, our shakes were really good too Pic of pup cup

Can around about an hour and a half before closing. They had the lobby closed, took cash only, and claimed they were “out of shakes” on a Saturday night. How are you going to be out of the one thing your business is built off of? Seemed like they were planning on closing down early and we ruined their chance. We went to Burger King instead.
