This is going to be my poke spot. The portion was so generous. I don’t know what mammoth size poke bowl people are used to but I was stuffed after getting a regular. The fish, the avocado – everything was so fresh. The server recommended the eel sauce which was so umami and delicious.

This place is awesome because they load it up. I got the 4 choice protein, Large, for 16 dollars and was amazed at their portions. Usually, a large is a place’s highest option but Poki Poki had a larger option.
Everything can be added without a fee except for the avocado.
The place is nice too, it’s clean and if you go at the right time, quiet. On this day, they had a movie playing to which I enjoyed half my plate. There was so much food that I’d have to finish it later in the day-yet it still felt like a full sized meal each time.
The flavors are not the boldest when compared to other places but having almost every side gave it a good variety in taste. Regardless of the flavor, the fish and sides, salads and rice were all very fresh and delicious.

* NEW UPDATE someone needs to train the employees that work on the weekend because they are giving skimpy portions. I’m disappointed to say the least. I usually recommend this Poki to everyone but now I’m not until things change.*

I used to be a bit prejudiced for any places with raw fish so it was my husband’s meal. But Fish smells great and looked so tempting and I couldn’t resist and tried. I felt in love with salmon&tuna and sides. Return definitely!

Delicious! I went there everyday for lunch for a week when I was in the area. My fave spot in all of North County. Their salmon is buttery and savory good. The portion size is huge. And former 49ers QB Jeff Garcia is a regular there. There’s always a line during lunch. This place won’t disappoint.

USED TO BE the best poke place ever! Great portions for decent price. The past month or so- (past 4 years as a regular customer) the fish portions have drastically shrunk. For $17 now you get a whole 3 tiny cubes of fish, which is kinda ridiculous.
Before they would’ve actually done a scoop as 3-4 cubes each. Hopefully soon they go back to their normal portions cause this place was my favorite.

Not my favorite poke, I mean they offer pretty much most of the ingredients in a regular poke place, BUT what I found crazy is that they charge for avocado which in most of the pokes I’ve been they don’t.
Size is pretty decent I have to say!
