I’ve been meaning to leave a 5 star review for our Platte City Jimmy John’s for a long time, so this is long overdo. In my opinion this is the best location in terms of freshness, friendly workers, great service and an immaculate restaurant. Their turkey, smoked ham, and cheddar cheese are the best quality I’ve found in any sandwich shop. We’re very fortunate to have it.

I ordered for delivery at 654 pm, waited and waited for about an hour. I tried to call 3 times and no answer. I finally gave up and drove to the store. Went to the drive thru and sat there for a minute and no one said anything. I drove up to the windows which were open. Yelled in to the employee, who had headphones in. He finally heard me and came over. I told him about my order and his response was, “Oh yeah, I ran out of bread and couldn’t deliver your order. I only have wraps. ” I got no notification of this. They were just going to charge us and not notify or bring any food. Incredibly disappointed in this transaction that occurred with this store. They need to do better.

Paid for extra meat and toppings and they messed up my order. I made sure I didn’t miss click in the app and no they just messed it up charged me too much and didn’t care. Just buy a pre made sub from the gas station. 0/10 do not recommend.

Several times I put in an online order and added extra meat. Did not get it on the sandwich. First time I thought it was a fluke. Happened a couple more times and realized there was a pattern. The last time, I got shorted $9 worth of extra meat on my sandwich order. I tried communicating with customer service about it and have tried following up several times with no answer. I hate giving bad reviews. I’d rather just deal with things privately, but since I’ve tried that route without any response, I feel a public review is necessary to warn others.

Been going to this Jimmy John’s since it opened and something terrible has happened to it the past few years. They got rid of their delivery drivers which took away the one redeeming quality of the shop (being “freaky fast”). The service when you go to the shop is awful — like you’re bothering them for wanting a sandwich. They’ll close a solid 30 minutes before their posted closing. And as I’m typing this, they messed up my order once again. Not something small like forgetting a topping— they created and handed me the completely wrong sandwich. Another wasted lunch and waste of money.
I never post reviews, but this place has consistently been so bad, in a place with so little food options, that I felt compelled to.

Update: Almost a year later and this location still doesn’t have staffing issues in order. We just decided to try it again and they won’t take in-person orders – only online orders.
Unfortunately, the location wasn’t open during normal business hours when we stopped in. The sign on the front door said they close at 8:30 with orders being cut off at 8pm, but it was not yet 8pm and the doors were locked.
Changing hours based on staffing is understandable, but disappointing when you adhere to the modified hours and still aren’t served. Definitely check to see if modified hours are modified further before planning to grab a sandwich.

Waited 20 minutes in line car did not move. Only one staff member working in the store waited 15 more minutes in the store and just left without ordering.

Little girl at counter IGNORED me. I stood there for at least 2 minutes. She definitely saw me. She was only one there,but so was I. LAZY Girl!!!!
